Portuguese Beta Feedback

Hey Everyone,

The beta for Neverwinter in Portuguese is available for testing!

To check it out, simply open the Launcher, click Options, then select "Portugues" from the Language list.

Feel free to post any feedback here in this thread!

Heads-Up! Our forum currently does not support Portuguese characters, so any posts in Portuguese that include special characters or accents may not display properly.

    how to put in portuguese ?? on my launcher only apper inglish opition ...

    Did you click the little arrow next to english, it then opens a drop down menu to select the language.

    My launcher has just been uptaded, but still has ONLY the English options in the drop down menu Languages. I am using the Arc also.

    I did some testing on this. It seems when using ARC to open the neverwinter launcher that you can only pick english. When using the stand alone launcher without going thru ARC, you are able to select other languages. So from what I see, it is not integrated yet thru ARC.

    eu uso o arc :( , alguem sabe se ele vai integrar o portugues como linguagem tambem, e se nao como eu poderia so baixar o neverwinter porq no proprio site so da pra baixar o jogo se baixar o arc.

    Impossible to change to PT-BR in the launcher, since I play ARC. And I cannot find the neverwinter.exe anywhere in my PC. When I start ARC it gives me the launcher, but there's only the English option in the Languages. If anyone was able to change into PT-BR, please gives us any step-by-step on that.

    And where Can I find the stand alone launcher? I can see only ARC in my PC.

    Your game files should be located here.

    C:\Users\Public\Games\Cryptic Studios

    or

    C:\Users\Public\Games\Cryptic Studios\Neverwinter

    2 things need to be fixed:

    The combat window summary is to small and you almost cant see the 3th column.

    When you drag a item to chat, you cant see the stats of the item when I put the mouse pointer over

    My game only has the English language as well; can't put on portuguese.

    Quando abro o jogo pelo Arc, consigo criar personagens novos, mas quando abro pelo .EXE pra poder jogar em pt-br o jogo trava na tela de cria

    @donklebao, so pra constar, quando abrir o .exe, experimenta faze-lo com privilegios de administrador. TALVEZ funcione.

    Just a heads up, Gateway test auto translates to portuguese, but translation is very poor, please give the option to choose english, can't stand that mechanical translations, better stay in english :) note: hope this won't go live as it is(without choice)

    When refering to buffs and debuffs, please translate "stack" as "carga". "Pilha" also means "battery" in english, and it became very confusing; also because it sounds kinda odd.

    I think "carga"/"cargas" fits better for "stack"/"stacks", because it refers to accumulation and "pile", the same as "stack".

    Also, on character select screen, The foundry should be translated only as "Foundry" not "O Foundry". "Inserir mundo" could be "Entrar no mundo", only "Entrar", or any other translation. "Inserir" translates as INSERT, which does not have the correct meaning.

    Is this thread the right place for translation improvement suggestions? Just like hefisdo and marcoslongo said some things need fine tunning. Would it be of help if we provided pictures along with said suggestions?

    I'd like to be able to freely select my Gateway language. With a switch, like the one in the Launcher.
    The translations are really strange at some points and other things aren't translated.

    Whenever I start a task the notification is in English, while almost everything else is in Portuguese.
