Shadowmantle (not) delayed? No matter!

Shadowmantle patch on December 5th. Nice!

http://nw.perfectworld.com/news/?p=1039541

I predicted second week of November based on Cryptic scheduling patterns, so I suspect there is more work to be done on it (especially the new Hunter Ranger class) so schedule is slipping (please read that with humorous tongue-in-cheek). :)

I'm all for waiting longer if it means a smoother experience. Quality over speed is always a good thing!

And that Hunter Ranger really does need some work still. :(

I wasn't aware they had given a release date that has slipped so how is it delayed? the only way it will be delayed is if it slips past the 5th of Dec.

Thank goodness we've got another week! I'm still grinding out a few more seals from Malabog's Castle for my full set, and I feared that once Module 2 is released all the parties will be storming the new dungeon and I'd never get a group for my last few MC runs. :)

On the one hand, I'm glad that the Shadowmantle content is coming out in 14 days. But at the same time, Cryptic hasn't made any public comment about their changes to the Upgrade system. As it stands, Cryptic has partially removed the ability to get Coalescent Wards on the Test Server. But at the same time, they haven't said whether or not Coalescent Wards will still be available in the Zen store.

If Cryptic doesn't get its act together, I'm expecting a lot of surprised and angry people when Shadowmantle goes live.

This is earlier than I expected, was looking at the 12th or 19th. Really looking forward to this. And the best part is that I don't have to work on the 5th and 6th.

Indeed, t's not 'late' or 'delayed', his math on the estimated release date was just wrong ;)

    COMPREHENSION is your FRIEND.
I can't help but laugh when commenters take the "delayed" aspect seriously. You must not have seen this part in the OP:

Personally I still think its far too soon for releasing this patch. Its still needs a lot of work. HRs are still far too weak after the numerous nerfs. The new refining system is worthless if they've removed any chances for free Coalescent Wards. They still haven't fixed the graphic glitches like the green lights and headless hulks. The odd fact that I get mad lag on my GWF yet none on my HR.

And gods only knows what problems i haven't found. Bottom line, this patch still needs more work then they can do in the short time left. I'd rather wait longer for a good patch that works right then get a half assed patch now.

I know it was in humor, regardless to make such statements isn't allowed. I fixed the subject.
