I have 816 Zen. I have a lvl 33 wizard and lvl 44 rogue. I just got a tomb spider companion for my wizard. Now I have 816 left. Any advice?

TIA.

Save it till later. When you decide you want something. Or when something great goes up for sale. Its not like its going to disappear if you don't spend it right away.

    1. Zen 110% mount (it is account-wide).
    2. Ioun Stone of Allure (cheapest and best augment pet).
    3. Respecs.
    4. Character slots.
    5. Bags.

Wouldn't bother with a respec unless with the new module coming out. Not unless I really messed something up. We will likely get a free one anyway.

Character slots are always good, if you need them though.

The 816 Zen that was mentioned wouldn't buy any of the rest of the stuff you listed. Which is why I suggested saving it until a sale. If they had more, then yeah... I'd pretty much agree with everything but the respec.

Chr. slots to make Leadership alts. ;)

...otherwise, save it for when there's a sale, as mentioned already, or for when/if you ever get more Zen and then have the 800 to go along with it.

The first thing i bought with Zen was a Ioun Stone of Allure, and after that 2 more Character slots for lvling new chars and ofc Leadership and Invocation...
I would suggest you either keep it for the Ioun or account wide mount, as for the pet you bought you will have no use for it in dungeons since it dies to quick thats what augments are good for...gl to you :D

Yeah, I wasted Zen on the Rock Golem companion guy, whatever his name is. He's really cool, but this was when I was new to the game and didn't know about augment companions. I really regret that purchase now. Luckily, the Zen was given to me for free, but still, wish I would have just bought Stone off the bat and used the rest somewhere else.

    Char slots.
The Ranger is coming out and with leadership on the extra slots you have the option to make your zen back and then some.

He's not gonna get either of those for 816 Zen.

Can you explain this? I understand the extra char slots, so I can make a ranger but how does that make leadership slots? and how does it allow me to make zen back? Sorry, I am doing the professions, grinding them out, leadership, alchemy and artifacting.

Sorry for the stupid questions. I appreciate all the advice.

It simply allows you to run more concurrent leadership tasks, if these new characters are also running them along w/ your existing ones.

Each character has their own number of slots for professions. More characters means you can run more profession missions. Leadership eventually has missions that grant you Astral Diamonds or AD. There is an in-game exchange that you can trade AD for Zen. That is how it would help you get your Zen back.

No, they are on the characters. That's why getting a second character would open up more slots.

For example: With everything maxed the most profession slots you can get with one character is 9. A second character would let you eventually get up to 9 more slots (on the second character). You'd still have to open them up like normal, but that's double the potential slots you have with just one.

Ohhh ok, I think I got it now. and since I saw i made a mistake not getting the stone right off and getting that silly spider, i went and got enough zen to buy the stone and will put my tomb spider in retirement along with my mAA that is at his max level of 15, dont suppose I can sell the spider can I? I also went ahead and got two more char slots and will prob use the last 300 to get a profession pack.

you will have 5 active companion slots with the update that will give you bonuses. so the spider isn't a complete waste :)

^This. You can't sell it if you've already equipped it. But in the upcoming module they area adding some stuff to companions. When module 2 hits companions in an 'active slot' will give you a passive bonus. Even when you have a different companion summoned. So you'll be able to use the stone, but you can have the passive bonus from the spider. Which is a chance to poison enemies every time you use an encounter ability if I recall correctly.

Module 2 will up the number of active slots. IIRC, you'll start w/ the base 3, then get 1 add'l slot at level 30, and other at level 60.
