Was such a fun game and fluent and fun combat; About to start up again with a friend kind of wondering if people have all left.

. . . . . Plenty of full instances everywhere at all hours of the day and night. All the shards have been merged. There is only one Shard now, Dragon. :)

I've always gauged this game's population on noting how many people exist in all instances of Gauntlgrym. Sure, not everyone plays GG, but it is a big enough sample to get a good idea. As such, I found Monday's GG (last time I actually looked) had 6 instances with an average attendance of 48.3 people per instance. This equates to roughly 300 people on a VERY slow day for most people, which is great imo. On Saturday's GG, there were over 700.

Well, we all knew Dragon was the best anyways ;)

. . . . . Nah, it's just that Dragons are omnivores and like to eat Beholders and Mindlayers too! The circle of life and all. :P

Consolidated server is a + in my book. I hate having to choose servers.

TR's still make up the largest % of players I think. Anyways the general population is about the same as most MMO's so find a good guild and avoid most of the rest (you'll end up with 1/2 on ignore with in a couple months anyways). It doesn't seem like there are nearly as many people playing anymore but hopefully module 2 brings some back

Except you'll have massive lag if you don't live in or near the country where the one and only Neverwinter server is located.

One server for a modern, global MMO-ARPG is just outright ridiculous.

That's more of a server location issue. The merge shouldn't have made that worse.

Remember the consolidation didn't change much. They said many times in the past that all three shards (Dragon, Beholder, and Mindflayer) were located on the same server anyway.

Population on live is debatable, but does not seem too bad, it is still noticably busier during DD and GG.

Personaly i have noticed the population on live does appear to have declined in the last 2 or 3 weeks, but i dont think it is due to players leaving,.

On live most players from feedabck have run out of things to do and are just doing their Sharandar dailies and proffs, Most seem to be playing on the preview shard mainly since the availability of the Ranger Hunter, Preview shard is 'booming' at presant in some cases i have noticed some zones have a higher pop on preview than they do on live.
Which shows the next module is much needed sooner rarther than later, i believe when this is released there will be quite a huge noticable increase in Population, i just hope the module lives up to most players exspectations, the new class could be a huge much needed boost to the game.

im not sure merging into one server was a good thing over all.. o.o
in groups now i have noticed and heard, a lot are not very organised, and just want to rush thru to a particular spot, with no thought to having fun and just plain clearing All mob before moving on, and i do beleive the game has an in game voice, has anyone tried to use it to see if it works ok or not, ? and then after actually getting to the end and killing the boss, there's name calling , ..party kicking sometimes before boss is almost dead, o.O o_o,
