High Prophet boots!?!?!

Trying to get these boots and i have been running cragimire for days now... whats up with these boots? Does the chest have any T1 tier gear at all? I have gotten nothing but rings from that chest and i see everything but these boots dropping.

The fact that theres not a single pair of them on AH ever, whats up with that??

    As far as I know, the boot drops BoP from the boss, possibly that they drop BoE from FC, but haven't seen them drop there, and their rare nature would probably make the prices sky-rocket.

    So that's the deal for you, long T1 dungeon with a endboss having 3% chance of dropping them, maximally (assuming almost 50% chance for boots). Enjoy the hunt, remember I did.

    As others have stated, run it again. I helped a guild member get High Prophet boots out of a chest yesterday.

    Alternatively, you can just run Tier 2 dungeons. The chest reward has a 50% chance to be Tier 1. At least that way you have a shot at some BoE boss loot.

    As stated above, these boots have always been BoP, and hard to get. I never got any from Cragmire, only T2's.

    [Greaves of the High Prophet] was the only Bound set item in the game (literally and with no explanation just that item and not the set) until the Feywild module. It has never dropped in BoE form anywhere then and I would not be the least bit surprised if it still does not drop in BoE form anywhere now.

    So, have fun farming Cragmire Crypts!

    Run Frozen heart a bunch of times. More likely to get it from there than in Cragmire(Took my DC 6 runs).

    it's cragmire crypts for sure... FH is for t2 boots

    T2 dungeons can drop random T1 stuff in the DD chest, and FH is pretty easy. That's why people recommend farming it... chance at the boots you want, and all the other stuff will be better too.

    The odds are much lower imo in T2 dungeons for T1 items. Usually I end up with some random neck/ring. I used to run cc a lot back in my low GS days and high prophet boots used to drop every time I went. Too bad they were bop even then. You're just having bad RnG luck though.

    Got mine from Cragmire as well. Maybe luck, but after 3 runs a couple weeks ago.

    Maybe I just got lucky didn't know they were so hard to get. I did 1 FH hoping for chest and then did a crag crypt and got it the first run from chest.. I guess it's like everything completely random but the drop rates for t1 dungeons are horrible especially from the chest everytime I done one trying to get my t1 cw set i never got one and i must have done 15.

    I got the greaves today in FC. And it is BOP. Why in the name of sweet potato is this the only one that is BOP??? If it is a mistake made by one of the devs, please reverse it. Thanks.

    Report it in the Bug Reports forum. Perhaps they will have time to fix it before the next major update. After almost a year of updates, if they don't fix it then, it will probably never be fixed.
