No drops for Waukeen event on teams

I played for a few hours last night during the Waukeen event with one other player who I regularly team with. During that time we got no Waukeen coin purse drops. After we did a skirmish and were un-teamed I killed some things on my own for a few minutes and got 3 coin purses. When we teamed back up I didn't get anymore for the rest of the evening. It seems like there are no coin purses dropping when teamed up. Is this intentional? If so, the event should mention that you have to be solo to get the drops. If it is just a matter of a severely reduced drop rate while on a team then I think this should also be mentioned somewhere and I have to ask... why? Is the goal to encourage people to not play together?

    Known Issues

The Coins of Waukeen event does not have full localization for Polish and Italian.
The Coins of Waukeen special drop item, Waukeen's Coin Purse, is not dropping with the intended frequency when grouped. This will be most noticeable in content such as Skirmishes, Dungeon Delves and Epic Dungeon Delves. Additionally, this item will not drop in Gauntlgrym.

it's a way for stop to prevent the abuse of foundry. during tymoria event some " smart guys " made foundry full of mob for drop easy the box. Seem this time they got it, and maybe lock the drop on party ^^ you can simpy farm alone, after all the event last only 4 day

It would be nice if the event could be extended for however long it takes them to roll out a patch to repair the party drop rate bug. I only play in party with my wife and we played for 4 hour hours without a single purse drop. Its really sad if this is just going to be a solo event in a multi-player game.

Suggestion: stick close together but not in a party. Assuming you're located close enough to each other in your home while playing that you don't require chat.

When I ran quests with my brother we just gave up on being in the Event.
Sad that it doesn't work, but I wouldn't pass up a chance to hang out online
with him. Playing solo... I just won't be doing any dungeons or skirmishes
until I get sick of wandering around alone, looking for bags. (yay?)

Oh. If you're too far apart in the house, I hear there are voice-chat programs
you can use rather than the one in-game. Sorry I don't know the names of them.
    Anyone else know?
Did you really think anyone could steal the power of the god of thieves?

Mumble is one, and it's very easy to use, but you would need to host somewhere (I only use it with a channel my guild already has set up, so all I do is connect).
