C'mon Cashptic, I understand the need to make money from players but isn't this going a tad too far?

    The way I've interpreted it it's actually not as much to make money of new players as to stop players from making obscene amounts of money. A normal DD before BoP patch gave a few hounded thousand AD, add 2-3 CN runs, and we're at 500k-1mil/day of semi casual play. (One can still easily make 1 mil+/day if they put their back into it, but it's not like you can make 1 mil for 4 hours of playing/day anymore.)

    T2 set gear was simply too easy to get. They fixed that.

    You can still buy other T2 gear for dirt cheap on AH.
