Played for about two weeks, got bored and quit. I have a Trickster Rogue and a Control Wizard, not sure which one I'd want to "main" - I like the wizard, but I don't like how I have to be ice/arcane. I like the feel of the rogue's combat, but I don't like how their abilities are just variations of "stab someone" with a blink/CC/debuff attached (and they're not as flashy as the wizard).
Any big updates/changes? New classes? Anything worth coming back for that wasn't around at launch? Or should I wait until they unveil the fire/lightning wizard?
Not that would attract someone who played the game for just two weeks and thinks pre-Feywild, when ordinary players were able to make XX million in just a couple of weeks,
That said, if you want the gory overview and if you really did have any interest in the game (or perhaps instead for the benefit of others in future):
- almost everything is now Bind on Pickup (even stuff that makes no sense whatsoever like class-specific loot)
- dailies to gain Boons (minor character stat improvements)
- new flashy, but generally mediocre Enhancements
- new races (two types of yet another Elf race)
- new endgame dungeon (Malabog Castle). Rewards are very minor upgrades to Castle Never and require huge investment in a Profession.
- new endgame armor. Rewards are worse than current gear
- new pointless professions
- hope you didn't have a Greater Plague Fire since it is now broken
- hope you were not thinking of making a Cleric since it has many critical bugs
- etc.
A new class has been hinted/promised for end of the year. This is what many are waiting for to restart the game.

All I know is that some people revealed that to get the best weapon enchants, you either had to buy things from the store that gave you a 100% chance to successfully combine/upgrade your enchants, or you had to have astronomically good luck. I don't remember the details and I don't know if that's true anymore, but it was one of many things that made me not want to play anymore.
But I still remember how cool using the daily powers was, and I thought about jumping back in. But if nothing particularly major has changed aside from endgame content, I'll keep on waiting for a proper DPS caster class.

Coalescent wards and the need for them still exist. Paying with money was never the only way to get them (even ignoring the fact that you can exchange AD for Zen).

Coalescent Wards. You can trade 7 celestial coins (daily invoke reward) in for a chance to get one. Also players that open a lot of lockboxes can buy them with the trade bars they get. The AH price varies, but tends to run about 100K AD. Which is why no one in their right mind actually buys them from the Zen Shop for 1000Zen.

Looking forward to when they get around to releasing the Scourge Warlock myself.

Your best bet at getting an evaluation that will be of use to you is to play it again yourself. Most of what you'll get on the forums is laced with negative bias and short on actual information, especially in the general forums.
You may also one to consult the forums specific to your classes as well. Some of the posters provide useful information in some of the threads there that is accurate and free of bias that you may find of interest.

^This is the best advice you could get on this. People who love the game will tell you its great. Haters will tell you its bad. But every person is different and there is no point in either group trying to convince you how to feel about it. Get in the game, play it some more, and decide for yourself.
the biggest change: dungeon queues are constantly bugging and you can waste a full DD event without the chance to get a non-bugged party and the devs just ignore this bug and don't fix it.
and the second big change: gold-spammers now spam zone chat in PE every 15 seconds the whole day.
Nope not really. bugs seem to be a big complaint, professions are useless now that they are selling gear apparently, still no new classes and they are only working on 2 which insults our intelligence greatly!
Dunno who's running the joint but they need to be replaced and soon!

Like it's been said before, this is not the best way to get an idea about the game. Some people will make it seem like their gripes with the game are game braking for everybody and other people will try to convince you that what they enjoy about the game will make it an enjoyable game for everybody. What I don't get is why people that hate the game are still playing, but that's another topic. You need to play the game and decide if the problems it has are game braking for you or what you enjoy about the game makes it worth your time.
Personally, I still enjoy the game a lot, though I don't play as much. I am really looking foreword to Module 2.

. . . . . I'm always an advocate for making one's own opinions instead of allowing others to make them for you. Give it a go, decide for yourself!

This rule is in place due to massive and unnecessary flame wars that broke out over the subject each time it came up.
