Due major complaints about balance we decided to remove all classes and races from the game. Instead all Players will play an unique class with only one skill.
We also added an intelligent system during PvP matches that will recognize when a player has not understood well the mechanics of the game. This player will be buffed with DMG bonus and Damage resistance until he is killing and dying at the same rate.
Penalty buffs will also apply in players that learned the mechanics of the game better, and they will have damage and damage resistance penalty until they are killing and dying at the same rate.
Items and Economy
All items were removed from the game, and now we only have one type of epic item. and it adds all stats equally. The same thing is added to Set Options, and enchantments. We decided to take this important measure to maintain balance in PvP
Dovahkiin Gannicus, GWF Sentinel- Enemy Team Guild
Gannicus Destroyer, GWF Destroyer retired
Kate Beckinsale NB DC, Link NB GF
"There is only one way to be a champion..., Never ...ing lose"
"Every adventurer has two things in common: they don't like dying, and they love getting paid. The rest is just semantics." Brecken, famed mercenary of Baldur's Gate
I honestly don't understand the point of nerfs based on PvP, because like 99.9% of the game content is PvE, and you choose to focuse on that 0.1%! It's like me buying a cake, just because I want that cherry on top, and then complaining that I'm still hungry and want more cherries.

It is funny and players need to look at the other thread to see exactly what this is a parody of to be honest. This basically sums up what player who want nerfs want to do and that is remove any differences between the classes. Some will still complain if there was even one class in the game to be honest.
1. a. A literary or artistic work that imitates the characteristic style of an author or a work for comic effect or ridicule. See Synonyms at caricature.
b. The genre of literature comprising such works.
2. Something so bad as to be equivalent to intentional mockery; a travesty:
Every class has advantages and disadvantages. Learn the disadvantages of you class to overcome them. Learn the advantages of your class and the disadvatages of other classes to use them in pvp to win.
There is no point to whine for nerfs because you win some and loose some. Crying just makes a player look like a crier and no one, especially the devs, should take them seriously. Have a nice day!:)

We know what a parody is, and we do know it has to have some humor in it. This one doesn't.
You know what who cares if you are too serious to see any humor in it. The player base of the game is dwindling already. More nerfs will just drive more players away. Granted nerfs is only one of a long list of issues in the game that is driving players away. I think the biggest issue is lack of content.

the OP may be a parody in that it's trying to ridicule the devs and/or "the nerf criers" but that's actually against the forum rules of conduct. you can disagree with the content of a thread and discuss that content but making fun of an individual or individuals - even in the form of a parody - is mean spirited. and not funny. it has nothing to do with being too serious to see the humor. there just isn't any to see.
as for the player base dwindling... yes. it is. since this is a free to play game, it opens the possibility for many people to come and try this game out for free. some will stay and some will go. but saying that the player base is dwindling is only half true. as players are trying the game out and leaving, players are also trying the game out and staying. that is the basis of the f2p business model. no MMO lives forever. but this one isn't going anywhere any time soon.

Here is the Nerf thread that was originally labeled NW.5.20130923b.9 Patch Notes and the thread here is a parody of it.

Yes it isn't, but it still manages to make it's point across.

Translation: Comic Effect = humor
Ridicule = nonhumor
Parody = Comic Effect(humor) or Ridicule(nonhumor)
