PvE: Rogue daily powers as useless as they seem?

Let me preface by saying that I love playing my rogue. My purpose in posting is more to learn something rather than complain. That said, are there any useful rogue daily powers for PvE?? If so which and how are people using them? Before the Lurker nerf, that was clearly an excellent daily. Post nerf, I find it more trouble than good, particularly the teleport function. If I am using it to close with a boss it invariably puts me into a tactically disadvantageous position (usually right in front). Even worse, if I maneuver myself into a good position it teleports me to a worse spot! I don't understand why they couldn't have made it teleport like Deft Strike. My other slotted daily is Whirlwind of Blades which I actually use more often now, but using a daily to do AoE damage (typically on trash mobs) feels lame with a TR. I also have Bloodbath learned because the animation immunity may, in theory, have situational benefit. I have respecced out of Shocking Execution after that nerf, and have never trained Courage Breaker. To be honest, there are dungeons where I haven't even used daily powers because I just can't find use for them. So, please, can anyone provide insight on how to use my dailies??

With the nerfbat on LA, TR dailies are pretty lackluster in PVE.

I use Whirlwind of Blades on trash clearing, and Lurkers on boss's.

Don't use the teleport function. I agree its total <font color="orange">HAMSTER</font> and I have no clue what they were thinking when they thought it a good idea.

Look away from the mob;at the ground is what I do, and then pop it. No need to use the teleport function as you are correct, it puts you in terrible spots, and in PvP every person with even the slightest reaction time will just dodge you.

I don't think they're useless. LA is not as devastating, but that doesn't mean it's nonfunctional. The stealth extension and damage bonus make it very useful against bosses. I also try to avoid the teleport, by simply activating it without anything targeted. I use it on both bosses and maybe higher-HP mobs I'd just like to get rid of a little faster.

Whirlwind of Blades and Bloodbath I use primarily as panic buttons. Currently I slot the former for playing with a friend and the latter when alone. The idea behind that is if I get surrounded by more than I can handle while grouped, Whirlwind generally clears enough to give the GF a chance to save my butt. If I get into trouble alone, Bloodbath buys me both time and immunity.

I don't think I've ever even put points into either of the other dailies. Shocking Execution was nerfed before I was even high enough level to have taken it.

Thanks for the tip on using LA while not targeting anything. Will give that a shot.

I use Bloodbath all the time boss fights. When ITC runs out and the boss does his aoe bam hit it i keep doing dps and i dont have to meve out of range.

PvP if there are alot on point same thing low health i pop it follow w/ itc or drop into stealth and escape or single target 1v1 all of bloodbaths damage unloads on single target and they cant hit me! Not to mention the evil laugh and bouncing around unseen is great for pschological warfare.
