    1. never ask for other peoples opinions in this or any mmo forum. most people that you'd want to talk to are in-game and enjoying it and don't even use the forums. if you want a negative outlook, then by all means, you're in the right place.

    2. play the game and get your own perspective.

    3. don't believe the doom and gloom you read in these forums. most of it is unsubstantiated rumors and conjecture. claims that the game is dying, that the population is decreasing, that neverwinter is some kind of get-rich-quick scheme... none of these claims are backed by fact. most people that spout off those claims are disgruntled customers for some reason or other. does this game have bugs? sure. are they game-breaking? in my opinion, no. i enjoy playing this game and if i couldn't play due to these bugs, i would simply take a break until these bugs were fixed. whining about it constantly in these forums and insulting the developers or the company doesn't get things fixed and/or changed.

You are a funny person. MOst people are in the game and enjoying it. I put that to the test i messaged in PE Are you over all enjoying this game. Guess what the over all responce was. They for the most part are not having a great time in the game was the strongest replys. And even when i logged in a see even less people playing the game then last week around the same time.

The game over all is appearing to have alot of problems. Main one is people are quiting the game or moving on to other games. I have only played the game for little over 3 weeks and even during that time i see less people online.

I am not saying the game is going to completely fail, but it sure isnt what i was hoping for. And it sure is heading down to the bottom of the MMO's pile.

So this weeks excuse for population decline is 2 better games are out right now and people are playing them instead. Last week it was oh people are in school now they stopped playing because of that. Whats your excuse going to be 2 weeks from now?

Over all this game isnt worth playing as it is right now. It need another 2 years of fixing and redoing like what they did with FF14.

Dont realy need 'facts', the game as more broken content than content that works as it should, including every dungeon and pvp zone, even down to real basics like character feats have to be chosen based on which actually work and which dont.

As for people posting in forums concerning their gripes against a bug issue they have come across is a good thing, it brings together more people who have exsperienced the same issue, and their exsperiences which should help to narrow down the cause or the actual thing at fault.

This is what forums are for. For people to discuss the game wether it be good things or bad, Seeing on the forums other players with same problems as their own helps them to understand it or even fix or find a way around their issues.

If you have free time and like f2p mmorpgs, give it a whirl. If ya don't like it, well you don't like it. No one will be hurt in the process.

If he has free time, how does that hurt his free time again? Maybe he'll have more free time tomorrow?

Seriously, the only logical answer to the question of "is it worth it?" is to decide for yourself. If you rely on the opinions of others, you'll get a conclusion as widely varied as the people who post their opinions.

Anywho, I've had to prune several comments for back and forth flaming and being generally non-constructive or unproductive to the discussion at hand. Please keep it civil and on topic.

I started playing in the Beta weekends, as a break between wow, i play in a top EU guild solely raiding 25 man heroic content for world rankings, this game filled my spare time perfectly at start it was a nice refreshing change and a real good game for F2P.

i have 7 lvl 60 toons all over 11k gs and 2 mains fully capped in BiS gear which were all lvl'd up during open beta and the first few weeks of live. At the present time, yes there is quite alot of broken and non working as it should content, most i have at some time exsperienced when it was working correctly.

I took a break from the game just before the release of Feywild and have just come back in the past couple of days , just to see whats new and what had been fixed mainly. tbh i have not seen much that as been fixed, probably some new issues if anything,
BUT suprisingly i have acually started to enjoy the game again, even though it has its problems and i have seen alot of new players realy enjoying it, which is good.
So the way i see it is yes, there are issues but it can still be fun, and it is FREE to play, but also i think if this game did get all or most of its issues fixed it could very easily be one of the top F2P games out there, which hopefully will happen on day, if not, it dont matter i had fun when i was here

Yes, it's worth it all the way to 60.

I didn't put any money in it, and found that I could get all the way to 60 without problems.

My recommendation before starting is, when you decide on a class, build it right form the get go. This game punishes you hard for ****ing up your skill order by making you pay a LOT of hard earned in-game currency or 6$ (could be wrong on price) to respec you character.

Anywhoo, YES THE GAME IS WORTH IT ALL THE WAY TO 60. When you get to 60, stop, and go start a new character. For now, 60 just isn't that fun, hence lots of complaints. Go, try it out :) You'll have fun! Up to 60 :P

If the game is not worth playing, why do some people feel the need to come back here to complain about it? Talk about a waste of time....

^^ agree. IMO one of the rewards for hitting lvl 60 should be a free respec token, The first toon i rolled , i got to i think lvl 44 when i started to realise i had made some bad choices feat wise, so i deleted it, lol. did some reserch on builds and started again with a new toon and lvling was a whole lot lot eaiser :)

To answer the OP: Play the game for a bit, then decide. There is no better gauge of what a game is worth to you personally than your own experience.

Everything else is the opinions of others, and there's an old saying about opinions....

Read the original post. He ASKED for opinions. Also clearly from the OP he has experience with the game and just wanted to know if it is "still worth playing" which many of us no longer believe it is. Great before the patch, but not worth it after... Yes, this is an OPINION.

And I'll still stand by my reply: You can't get an opinion if the game is worth it to you unless you can gauge it by your own experiences. It's like asking ten different people what time it is--you'll get ten different responses and in the end still won't have anything valid to go by.

Other people cannot legitimately determine what something means to you personally.

If I look at my smartphone and it tells me it is 1:30 pm EST, and I stand up in the office and ask my colleagues what time it is and I get 10 different answers all ranging between 1:25 pm and 1:35 pm, I think at the end of said experiment I'll have a valid enough data set to know what time it is.

    haha indeed XD
People complain, they just love to, in general.I have played many MMO's and the forums always have many people complaining about this and that. I would worry if the forums and game were deserted.

This game has a lot of potential just they need to fix the hacking situation a friend of mine got hacked a few days ago and they gave her account back but the items are lost still no word if she is getting her stuff back. Kind of sad especially if you put a lot of time into a game . Secondly Gold is nearly useless AD is the most annoying currency in the game and should just be removed or standardize into a single currency. Not everyone can sit in front of a computer 24/7 some of us have jobs and other things that take our attention. It would go a long way if the GM's to frequently buy people's stuff in the auction house to put AD back into the already poor economy.
