- music: 2/10 (personal preference i know)
- editing: 2/10 (there was literally 10 sec footage of you standing on a point capping it)
- content: 3/10
- quality: 9/10
You show 2v1s where you don't even end up getting the kill lol
You facetank unstoppable gwf, thats a no no
most footage you're not even in danger, there's no close calls except that one part near the end which is lol in itself
I know it's hard to get good footage from pug games, but i think if you put some more time and made it 3-4min vid I'd enjoy it more.
With this Video I will not claim to be a "Pro", Uber OP GWF or whatever, I'm playing Neverwinter since open beta and PvP just 4 fun with Guildies and friended Premades (sometimes PuGs).
I used Fraps a lot, so I've many **** on my HDD and I was like "I'm bored, let's make a Video with the Fraps Material"
On PvP I'm using 2 x Scrappers, 2 x Titans + Level 7 Entchants for Deflection, Defense and Hitpoints. On my Weapon is a greater Plaguefire and on my Armor a lesser Soulforged. I have but I don't use Tenebrous because I love longer Fights on 1on1s etc.
Enjoy this Video (best view on 1080p) and pre-Thanks for Likes
So you put me on ignore after i tell you the names she called me ??
you make no sense
I ask you to be mature and not burn more bridges... You clearly couldnt do that. End of story. If you want to man up, I told you what you need to do, and then ill take you off ignore.
I reached out a hand in a nice way, was upfront and honest with you. Maybe you can return that favor and do what I had asked.
Until then, ill see you in pvp. Maybe next time you wont leave right away

How many times did I tell you I was in the middle of a match ?
and yeah.. What person would stay in a PUG with a group's gear score was around 7k...against a guild only premade...
You are right on the most Points pers3phone. For myself it isn't unbalanced (classes), there are no OP Classes for me in this Game but it's an opinion thing.
I wouldn't like a Ladder or League System because Cryptic has to do many Fixes and Cryptic has to block Macro/Script using in this Game. There are many Players who are using fast Armor Swapping with using Macros to get a Combat Advantage on Entchantment Effects.
Sometimes I am watching the Neverwinter News Stream (I am from Germany yes) and a german Community Manager said "Oh yes in Future we could make this Game ready for playing PvP on the Electronic Sports League (ESL)" <-- Hell NO! This will kill the game and the funny PvP matches...
Yes, fixes are good. Armor swapping is bad in-match, agree.
What I don't get is the "funny PvP matches" you mention.
For whom? You and other premades or guys with Greaters/Perfects and Rank 8s+?
PvP must be fun for everybody, not just a few guys that are having a smash destroying undergeared squishies.
No. You guys must play against somebody of your own value. This can only be achieved by a system as in WoW, with ladders and proper matchmaking.
Why?
Because you will win many matches first, and up on the ladder you go, where you will meet only teams that won so many matches as you in average. How can this be bad?
Or are you actually desiring to just destroy people below your gear and skill level? You will NEVER improve then.
Matchmaking, ladders, proper rewards for top ladders, dual spec so we aren't forced to play PvP with PvE spec if we like PvE most. Make these happen.
PS: skirmishing like it is now can remain in the game for practice purposes.
I don't understand why Cryptic isn't listening. In all honesty it seems that the PvP'rs generally are the ones that are spending the most money in the game, why not throw them a bone and introduce some new stuff?
I love doing guild premades, but its so far and fiew between that we find a decent match, I've resorted to just chasing people around the match trying to hump them and see how they react.
Seems most of our matches turn into 1 vs 1 fights for the people that aren't complete cowards and chose to join in the fun instead of sitting in the campfire. Which is cool, because we've met a lot of cool people doing this. But a decent match obviously is what we are looking for in PvP.
I would hardly say we are the best on our server, but we do PvP an extreme amount, and more often then not people see our guild tag and just leave automatically without even trying. Which is silly because we don't stack any sort of team, we just group together with whoever and whatever class wants to. We lose just like everyone else.
What I would like to see, and most of you will agree
Server Wide PvP Ques.
Server Wide PvP ladder matches with a ranking system
PvP Q's based on Gear Score, set into 3 categories: 5k-9k / 9.1k - 10.6k / 10.7 and higher into 1.
No armor swapping in the match, or immediately after you Q for a certain bracket. I realize the differences in GS's for certain class's, but this to me seems a decent GS level to be able to compete in.
1 Free "leave" every 12 hours of gameplay in PvP. Anything else, 4 hour account character lock on all Q'ing in the game. Dungeson/PvP/Skirmish etc.
10 Second "idle" time in Campfire, then you are pushed out.
PvP rewards; New Titles, a tracking system for kills/deaths/wins/losses. Different transmutable armor, custom player made PvP gear sets, player made Pumice Stones. Endless list of things players would have fun with, these are just a fiew from me.
A column for most damage given, taken. A column for most heals given, received displayed in the "X".
Actual rewards for DC's in the f!cking match(really cryptic?). Bonus's for near death saves, heals etc.
Glory given for individual fights during the match: I.E, near death, node defense, unstoppable/rampage/killstreak type Display messages.
New Maps, larger maps, smaller maps(think arena style deathmatch)
Juggernaut, capture the flag, Death match, team deathmatch, objective based, offense/defense(think battlefield objective capture)
Yes, fixes are good. Armor swapping is bad in-match, agree.

Sorry my explanation wasn't well. With fun I meant to play with everyone. I'm also playing Premades with PvP Newbies or not so well geared Players and a Ladder System would interrupt this. Or they have to make a Ladder System and a "anything goes" System, where you can play with everyone and meet everyone on a match. Intead of a ladder system or waht ever I would love new PvP Modes like Capture the Flag, Death Match etc.
I don't understand why Cryptic isn't listening. In all honesty it seems that the PvP'rs generally are the ones that are spending the most money in the game, why not throw them a bone and introduce some new stuff?
100%. I was talking this morning and said, "people generally dont spend more money upgrading r7s to r8s because they want to farm MC 5 min faster. They do it because they want to have an edge in PVP.
I bet if they looked at the majority of dollars spent it would be from the "pvp crowd" Cryptic really needs to hop on that band wagon and introduce more stuff.
Nice thoughts! I dont get why there isnt charts just like freaking PVE, "most damage taken" "most kills" "more damage delt" ETC...
A perma tracker of win/loss ratio would be AMAZING!!! This would curb leavers SOME. I completely disagree with GS brackets though. If you WERE gonna do this, IMO you should have a <8.4GS and a >8.4 GS (isnt that the T2 requirement? Its been too long since ive looked)
This separates groups into the "minor leagues" and "majors" anyone who cant run a T2 prob needs their own que.
A server merge would help a TON. A "ranking" system would be awesome.
100% for new maps, new gametypes, new pvp armor, new pvp weapon skins, heck paragon paths would be a HUGE diversification, what is that 3 more paths for each class, you just DOUBLED your options.
I heard it takes like 100 hours of coding for 30 min of PVE gameplay. I cant imagine it possible taking that long to make 2 new maps and atleast 1 new gametype and change the "x" feature in pvp to show the exact same display like it does in PVE....
Create a few new titles, change the way kills are awarded to whomever does the most damage... All of that would hardly take 100 hours and it would sure as hell last longer than 30 min of gameplay....
That would be a HUGE breath of fresh air into this game..
OVERALL: 100% agree with the post above!

It's only fun for you. That's why most people leave from such matches, it's not fun for them, only the guys winning like it. Why? Because the newbs have basically nothing to do but stay and get killed. I have 12K GS on my CW with HV and Ancient, admittedly PvE spec, yet even at this GS which is not the highest, yet it is respectable, if I get caught by some decent GF/GWF (such as yourself for example) it's constant CC and death without me being able to respond or react. Or a decent TR will almost 1 shot me. You think being prone all the 5 seconds until you die is fun? Well it's not, not to mention that basically any premade will try to focus me, I dodge a lashing only to fall into another.
Now imagine the typical 8500-9500 GS newbie, poor, trying to get a PvP set. If I don't stand a chance, how do you think this guy will do? What pleasure does he extract from running to the field and getting obliterated in 2 secs?
Now, I have yet to see people leave from close matches that are undecided. This is how it should be. That's why ladders and matchmaking systems must exist. A ladder based on win-loss ratio will also resolve the GS matchmaking issue. Some teams might have very good gameplay but not yet geared, they will still win a lot and get to play up in the ladders and so on.

I have to agree....
to the bully, stealing everyone's lunch money is fun... not so much to the person getting their lunch money stolen.

My 2cents
Give them a reason to make money of it and they probably will be all ears , sadly

I would also love a 1on1 PvP "Ladder" or a PvP Training System for internal Guild Matches to go on pratices with PvP Newbies.
