Cannot change characters using the gateway

After today's patch, it is no longer possible to change characters using the gateway. I can log in, select a character and do everything with him, however, when I click to change to another character is always times out and the only solution is to log out and relog.

Please fix this quickly as this bug is *very* annoying.

BTW, I'm using IE 9.

    I'm using Chrome and it still works fine for me.

    This got me thinking.

    I cleared out my data cache entirely on chrome. Relogged. It's working just fine for now.

    I can verify that this is also happening with IE10, 32 bit.

    Attempting to change characters results in it hanging for a bit then prompting me to return to character select, attempting to do that results in a disconnect.

    What is going on with the QA over there?

    Welp.... that solution worked for one switch and now I'm back to where I started >_>. Back to F5

    Safari rawks. No problemoze-oze-oze here.

    It's looking to be a local system thing, like your chosen browser or something.

    It's not cooperating on Firefox either.

    I am having the same issue now. Cleared cache and still not working.
    Getting this error when switching characters, and the it will disconnect me.

    Loading timeout
    The resource you requested wasn't received in a reasonable time. You can refresh the page and try again.

    Not working in any browser I use (chrome, IE, Firefox, gecko).

    I'm seeing the same issue with the Gateway. If I try to switch characters it seems to lock up for several seconds then I get disconnected. This is happening with IE9 and Chrome.

    Same here. Gateway character switching is not working anymore after they "improved" the gateway.
    Browsers: Firefox & Chrome on my desktop; Chrome & LG's Droid Browser on my Android 4.1.2 Phone;

    Incidentally, no evident error is showing up on the JavaScript error console (other than a bunch of CSS issues & an included "time" script containing the system time).

    This isn't a major show-stopper (F5 works well enough on my desktop; no option for that on my Droid though) but it's extremely inconvenient. For now, I have to log out and log in again to change characters on my phone.

    Here's hoping the Gateway devs can get around to fixing this problem since it's quite invaluable in my busy schedule.

    Update: another little issue is that when my bro logs into his account on my browser, he sees my character sheet (last character loaded; even if he picked his own character).

    same here firefox IE chrome. not working, i do what i gotta do, relog, rinse repeat

    They don't care, maybe it'll get fixed next week per a dev post in another thread. The ineptitude behind this game is hilarious.
