As a reminder, Opus Dei is still actively recruiting lvl 50+ players but with a bit more strict criteria from now on...

We want to focus more on CN and MC, as well as good PvP premades mostly for GG. Therefore looking mostly for active, experienced and legit players (either with good experience on CN/MC or fast learners) who have some previous MMO experience (not new to MMOs) and know how to play their main class good (role, build, tactics etc).

Friendly to Zen players, but not friendly to a 'pay 2 win' mentality...also not friendly to exploiters.

Another typical Pirate King run tonight for our guild, where we managed to beat our previous record big time (took around 15 min, no healers, no guardian, no wipes, no cheats, full clear), leaving us enough time for the next T2 DD dungeon ;-) This time we had 3x CW, TR, GWF.
Tons of fun on the guild's raidcall where I am transmitting some...appropriate music to match the latest midsummer festival event (hippie 60s/70s psych/prog/folk etc) from my collection of rarities & jewels

Opus Dei has started a Guild Class Guides project, with GWF/DC guides already on our website's resources section and plans for CW and TR guides to come soon. The guides will be for guild members only, but if we receive positive comments and feedback from the guild, the plan is to make them public at some point in the future.

We also have a new guild bank repository, which costs 600K AD, for a total of 4 repositories. We are proud for this achievement, since it did not come from spending hundreds or thousands of $ in the game like many guilds do, but from playing and farming legit in order to stock up the outrageous amount of AD needed for unlocking 4 guild bank repositories in total.

And then there is the 1st Opus Dei Guild Competition for members with a 50 gold prize (or any epic item of choice from our bank) for the best member submitted screen shot of Neverwinter and more prizes for 2nd and 3rd place!

I would like to give a warm welcome to all our new members who joined Opus Dei the last few days

We have recently started expanding to other timezones besides EU (US/Asia/Australia) and are actively recruiting!
Open and friendly to active, legit players whether new or veterans. Our lvl 50+ policy still holds for now.

Indeed our guild name was inspired by that and our concept and structure by some medieval and newer secret orders, but we are by no means ultra-conservative nor do we want to rule everything :P
We are a fairly democratic guild with a solid Neutral/Good alignment RP concept with laid-back mature gamers

Opus Dei is proud to announce that we have founded a new alliance for like-minded guilds, along with the Old Timers Guild. The name of our alliance is Legit Guilds Alliance and, as far as I know, is the first such alliance on NW where more guilds will be invited or might apply to join (so it is a kind of a separate entity with equal members).
The purpose of this initiative is to create a mature environment where players with values -such as being legit- can enjoy the game and play it like it was meant to be played.
We use a custom in-game channel, as well as RaidCall, an alliance forum and the occasional friend lists for now. The plan is to invite more legit & active guilds to join the alliance, but if some guild applies we might consider it too. Any new alliance member has to be of mutual acceptance of course, from both Old Timers Guild and Opus Dei.
I want to thank again the leader of Old Timers Guild, Xinra, for his ideas and contribution, and welcome all OTG members in our new alliance!

I sent you a friend request yesterday, it's still pending. Maybe you didn't notice it?
You can also do a guild search ('Opus Dei') in-game, we have people online most of the time and quite a few officers.

I would like to announce that Opus Dei and The Old Timers Guild have recently created the Legit Guilds Alliance, the first we believe such separate-entity alliance for legit guilds on Dragon. The Older Gamers have also joined so there are 3 guilds now, and we are open to more truly legit and active guilds.
We regret we cannot accept Luskan guilds into the alliance, unless they consider changing their faction allegiance.

Opus Dei will be accepting cross-shard applications (like we always did) in the light of the upcoming shard merge, seeking the best players in Neverwinter. Accepted players will be given full membership status on our website and will be invited to join the guild after the merge happens.
I am going to post a new thread reflecting the new international guild status soon.

Opus Dei is becoming an international guild covering most timezones. We recently recruited quite a lot of US players and looking to welcome Asia/Oceanic players also in our ranks.
So the playtime should fit for any US or EU player, having several other members online, and we are working to extend that for other timezones/geographic areas.
Also don't forget our alliance with 2 other North American guilds (Legit Guilds Alliance: Older Gamers, Old Timers Guild, Opus Dei).
