Nobody queues for dungeons lol. Use the looking for group chat channel to find games. Or even better join a guild.

Well that's pretty much it.. If your guild isn't working for you find another. No need to feel bad about it. (Or take the reigns and turn it around if you feel like it.)
Other than that, you have to queue, which often does not end well, or as Kobrakai said, post a LFG message and try to get someone to pick you up.
The only one of these that has ever worked well for me at all, was the Guild option. And I've watched a couple of guilds simply dissolve as people either took a break from the game, quit entirely, or just left the guild for whatever reason. But yeah.. hop guilds until ya find one that makes you feel like it has a purpose for existence.

I use the queue daily. The longest I've had to wait the last two weeks was almost a whole minute before I was accepted into a dungeon. The shortest was being accepted before I had time to press K to close the dungeon finder. ;)

PuGs are the brainless human beings whom you meet in T1 gauntlgrym. Usually people who don't use potions nor the shift key, then blame the cleric.

PUG is pick up group which is formed from /lfg chat

Queue is randomly solo queuing and praying that a: everyone speaks the same language b: everyone knows how to play the game c: you at least have the necessary classes to complete the dungeon d: they have good enough gear not to die 100 times.

obviously PUGs ie /lfg chat avoid all of the issues encountered in randomly queuing, thus you should never, ever, ever randomly queue.

best option of course is to form groups via guild, but when you don't have that option pug via lfg.

IMO, there are 2 types of "PUGs":

    1. Groups randomly formed via the queue system - has the highest chance of failure as no one has really met or talked to one another before, and likely doesn't know each others' strengths or weaknesses.

    2. Groups which are formed via the /LFG or other chat solicitations. While these teams also start out as strangers, they tend to fair a bit better because there was at least some sort of communication beforehand. The only downside to this method is that while you can queue with whatever team makeup you like, PUG of type 1 is pretty much guaranteed to have a DC and GF, whereas one pre-formed may not...

PUG - pick up group, normally

If done in LFG chat with come care and patience - a group that can kill draco in 45 minutes

In reality - a bunch of people who think they know what they are doing but do not. Common errors include:

Not using pots, or shift, or both, then blaming the healer (duh). BTW this is a big reason why no one wants to heal in PuGs

People who THINK they know what they are doing but do not, I have had pick up groups where someone who ran the dungeon 3 times started telling me what to do, i told him not to, then he would pull the whole room and wipe the party. repeatedly.

People who don't understand teamwork - run off on their own, die, then blame the party.

Honestly, find a good guild :S I have no idea how else to play this game.

Side note, if you are really struggling, nice person, active, like sharing loot, and know how to find things like dodge and potion, feel free to find me on PM @chemboy613

Looking forward to the merge :)
