Chance to delete assets when you upgrade

I made this thread to let everybody know that there's a bug if you upgrade assets you have a chance at deleting all your assets. This has happened to at least 10 people(that I know of). So don't upgrade any assets or this might happen to you too. :(

    Looks like they at least have admitted it is a known problem, so hopefully you can get your assets back.

    the assests get deleted even if they performing tasks?

    also there is a chance to happen or it happen all time?;/

    i got an adventurer upgrade running atm, but think there is no way cancel it.. T_T

    They seem to get deleted even if performing tasks according to some of the other threads:(.

    What seems to happen is the upgrade tasks consumes not only the assets you intended it to use, but also any assets that are in-use performing other tasks. Reports indicate that this might not even be limited to the same quality of assets, as I've seen someone indicate they lost their Men-at-Arms while making a Hero.

    is the task still completed tho?

    i mean, u train 2 adventurers.

    first task ends and consumes all other resources even the ones that work on 2nd adventurer.But will the 2nd adventurer still be made?;p

    Sorry dont know if that makes sense but if anyone understood it would like an answer XD

    Oh, god, is this in game or on the gateway or both? Every single task on every single character I have (4) is upgrading assets. :/

    True, but I doubt it will get stickied. It would be nice if the Mods would link to the thread in under the Known Issue.

    Look under "assets currently in use" if it's empty you got the bug.:(

    Somebody said they found a way to make alot of free hero's with this bug but won't tell me. It's an exploit/bug so don't do it:(

    and considering the nightmare mount exploit/bug, no worries u can abuse it freely without fear of ban or rollback!!!!

    That's not an exploit, it's an opportunity to get lucky.

    Edit: This is also in the bug report forums. I strongly suggest reading it for anyone who wants to get lucky.

    Yeah, just like if a jewelry store clerk accidentally leaves a case unlocked, you are encouraged to take everything you can stuff in your pockets! Hey, they left it unlocked, so they must have wanted you to take it, right? No moral uncertainty there at all ...

    No you must have missed it. According to Moderators/PWE/Cryptic, they aren't exploiters, they're lucky.

    I would take screenshot of overview showing it in production, but not showing the asset at bottom then hope PWE fixes it and reimburses you.
