Why no pet bar? Or is there?

Really, why is there no pet bar? Am I missing it? Do we have a companion control bar? I would love to send in my pet first when pulling a pack of mods. I would love to tell my buddy when to heal me and when to attack. I think it would be great to tell the Sellsword what to do, seeing I have paid for his services.

There's no bar because there's no commands to put on it.

    We need pet commands first.

For now they just stand there and do nothing, run in to range attack a mob, stand in the red spot, and find every trap in the game. They die quite often. Soon you will be able to upgrade them for a hefty fee and watch them do the same things.

Nope all pets use A.S.S (Artificial Stupidity Systems) & do what ever you want them to do least, the most:)

I do like micro controlling pets in games as part of a character class but I'm not sure this game would really benefit, other than maybe basic behaviour - aggressive, defensive, stand there and guard that.

I would love it if they had basic settable scripts like the pets in Titan Quest. Aggressive would seek out enemies, defensive would stay by you and only respond when attacked, and neutral would attack enemies but while sticking closer to you.

Just giving the healers a script to not go nose-to-nose with the ogres please would be a huge leap.
