Ranger has always been my top favourite class in D&D / AD&D, i really wish we get it soon enough (and hopefully devs will keep in mind it is a fighter class, not a rogue class)
A week or two ago I did see a community moderator post a reply in someone's thread where the community moderator specifically stated that there will be no new classes with the feywild module.
Correct. No new classes with module 1. As said before, nothing has been confirmed other then, "before years end". I, personally, expect we will see more news and details some time in September.
I'm afraid by the time it finally gets released it will be a case of too little too late. Elder Scrolls Online due out in March 2014.
I find it hard to believe that they couldn't resource enough to add any player controlled ranged DPS class from the get go.
I often play a game with myself at seeing what will happen first, NW gets some ranged DPS or State of Decay gets its sandbox mode live first. I'm banking on SoD putting up sandbox well before we see any ranged anything.

The only two hard facts we have at the moment are this. One, at least one new class is in the works. Possibly as many as two. And second, the new class will be "Ranged"
This is the only concrete info Cryptic has confirmed. Anything else is speculation or intentional misinformation.
No release date has been set. However, it has been hinted at some time before year end. I expect we will see more firm info and promos on it mid September.
Didnt Andy say in a dev vid, his favoured?favourite class, another hint?

Elders scrolls will be P2P, NWO is F2P. You are comparing completely different games here.
I'm surprised because I really believed we get the new class and new race with the expansion. Guess I was wrong.
But then again, hmm, they just do some rebalance first? I mean the cc-nuke in pvp is unbearable for sure, they nerfed the trickster badly so they might balance other classes as well.
When rangers comes out, it will be the end of TR as the Main DPS class, CW can still find a place for Ads control, but we will gladly welcome TR in our group of useless Class in Never.

Not true, a Dev or PWE rep also said the new class is "iconic".
Which confirms its Ranger. (Since there are no other iconic ranged classes in D&D)

I can't seem to find it again, or I'd quote it.

As much as I'm excited for ESO I fear it will fail due to peoples expectations.
Also from the recent footage the skill/spell system seems weird and the way a bow works seems weird.
