What Call To Arms Skirmish will you like to see next?

enjoyed the call to arms Orc assault and it got me thinking.
of drops might they have for the other skirmishes.
so lets play a game and try to guess what the next Call to arms skirmishes
will drop. who knows we might give the devs some cool ideas.
_______________________________________________________
this is only a brainstorming game I have no knowledge of dev plans
  • a dyepack with 3 colours
  • a pet
  • and a unique weapon or outfit piece for each class

im most looking forwards to "Straight to Helm"
due to its proximity to neverdeath I leveled right past it
without realizing and missed the headstrong badge
SO my guesses for " Streight to Helm" is
Dyepack: Based on what I see being worn in the zone.
  • Black Primary,
  • pale gold/greyish Secondary.
  • With a light red trim

Items:
  • Cleric: Cultist/Asmodai symbol
  • Wizard: a claw holding an orb like the one on the hellfire magus staff (or maybe the staff)
  • Guardian: A shield with asmodai symbol
  • Rogue; a small mace like the zealots have
  • Great wepon fighter: the Shock trooper sword
  • Pet: Imp

There is a total of 12 Skirmishes in the game (Blacklake Terror!, Orc Assault!, Storming the Keep, Straight to Helm, Defend the Temple, Pit Fight, Garrundar the Vile, Storm Front, Gate Crashers, Defend the Village, Battle for the Bridge and Aberrant Assault) and they have said they will most certainly not be on a weekly (or even a regular) basis...so, maybe we get one per month - meaning it might take a full year to cycle through the whole set.

I'm actually fine with that, and I don't really care in what order I get the skirmishes.
    Hoping for improvements...

    • Silver, secondary
    • Dark blue

dunno about the items since I wasn't in that zone for quite some time

Doesn't matter to me which is next, but due to the extremely low chance of getting a pet, the RNG is sickening. Also, the weapon skins just take up space because the cost to apply it is something most people don't want to pay. So for me at least, I'll be glad not to see this event back for a month.

RNG on such a short event is stupid, need tokens. Then use the tokens to buy what you want.
    Dragon Shard:
    Dorlin: Level 65 GF/2nd Account: Calias/62
    Elkysium: Level 65 CW/2nd Account: Krystalyn/62
    Artemis: Level 65 TR/2nd Account: Fayne/62
    Zantoth: Level 65 DC/2nd Account: Nemea/62
    Kryndar: Level 65 HR/2nd Account: Lilith/62
    Goreb: Level 65 GWF/2nd Account: Tysha/62
    Bamidor: Level 65 OP/2nd Account: Valindra/62

I'd be inclined to revise that suggestion to include both guaranteed token drops and the RNG for the extra thrill of possibly getting a lucky find. A bit like the Invasion event, except the pet from the vendor shouldn't be a worse version of the drop, because that's a real downer for people with bad luck.

I don't particularly care which they come up with next... anything but Garrundar?

I would think the next Call to Arms will be "Storming the Keep", as that is the next skirmish by the content level. Besides any Pirate type rewards are sure to popular.

The nice thing about pets is you can just buy/sell them in AH the transmog items are BOP witch does make the events a bit grindy. Id love to see a call to arms currency (1-3 per fight) that's universal to all call to arms and allows purchase of pet or transmog of the current event trasmogs/pets and of course savage enhancments from the call to arms Quartermastter of the month,

this way people who save up over 2-3 call to arms casually. or that guy who does 100 battles with no pet/rare can just buy a pet or rare item. and the lucky SOB who always gets the stuff on the first drop can buy enanment budles

And I love the thought of a tiny ice troll, the dye pack is a bit like the wizard pack though I do like the thought of a pale blue primary.

also I love the idea of pirate themed gear for storming the keep. maybe a skeletal parrot for the pet on that one. what kinda colors would for for pack brown primary maybe black secondary and white trim? im avoiding red on this one since this game has so much red potential.

Oh! A dwarf companion! It could be a defender type like the man-at-arms but with an axe or something.

Well the way I see it, Dwarves are a little unloved right now. We just got a whole new batch of Orc gear, in addition to the stuff that is already available. There are several Drow themed areas with unique Drow themed gear. We are going to be getting an entire new Elven area with new Elven gear. And yet with two Dwarven themed areas, there is not a single Dwarven style axe or hammer.

Im just saying that if my Wizard can have a book for an orb, like that even makes sense. Then my Dwarf Cleric can have a hammer for a symbol!

Back in the CB, there was a beardless Dwarf companion (i think he was a Rogue-like, not sure), so if in every new Call to Arms event theyre giving the chance to get a new companion, i wont be surprise if they bring back this odd fellow.

Whatever skirmish they do next, I'd love to see the objectives spelled out a little more clearly once you zone in. I played precious few of them in leveling up...

Cant remember its name because I leveled past it.

But the first time you fight the drow in Rothe Valley (I think that is the place).

You could theme it one of 2 ways

    Either Drow based gear

So dark dye with a focus on purples.

Weapon skins could be based around spiders (e.g CWs orb been a orb decorated with a spiders web). The companion could be a spider of some sorts.

Or based around the Rangers fighting them

Dye pack been greens and purples.

Weapon skins based on wood elf design (so slim long swords and nature looking.) With the companion been a Ranger.

Before we get too deep into which dye kit or weapon model we want for the next call to arms event, I think they need to re-evaluate the cost to transmute items. They should only cost like 1/10th of what they do now... 6000 ADs at level 60 is enough that someone won't do so willy-nilly, but is low enough that people would actually do it...

I concur. That being said, because I don't quite hate myself enough yet, I want to throw a vote down for Vellosk (Pit Fight) or Icespire Peaks (Storm Front). I will not be happy until everyone suffers further from Winter Wolves!

And if I can throw in a negative vote, Mount Hotenow (Battle for the Bridge) is the last thing I would EVER want to deal with. Seriously. They can't make the rewards awesome enough for me to go back there.

How about a Shorter start timer for all Skirmishs.

45min wait timer is way too long and half the time we don't even get the loot at the end out of the box's.

It is even worst when trying to queue for skirmish during an event, queue can take longer than the even that is active

Well they have stated that they are fixing the queue bug.
Currently it is much faster to queue alone than with friends because the way its working now its essentially declining any match that your entire party is not in.

The orc dyes defiantly looked better on metallic armors than cloth though if you covered one of the browns with a standard red or brighter color it didn't look that bad

I'd like to see gate crashers purely because the overlevelling issue the game has meant I've never got the chance to do it yet.

Not sure how many of the orc call I did on various characters but I never saw anyone get the rewards being touted, I was expecting something might have been done to tweak the event chest but it only added the usual AD's.

As far as dye packs go anything but brown, there's too much of that colour being used already. The brown and red of the OA packs was a really nasty looking combo for a lot of gear so maybe get someone thats not blind to do the palletes beforehand.
