    The colors are plain simple, mostly cuz i like the gray/white parttern... Not to flatter myself, but i think its really cool.

    EDIT: Helm is the Nothic Helm dyed with DC dye kit and the armor is the Armor of the Avatar.

    Does the Nothic Helm just drop in the Chasm? Been there awhile and haven't seen it. Guess I'll keep killing Plaguegazers.

    No. But I'm pretty sure a lot of people will agree that female cleric avatars/gear look a lot more regal than the male ones.
    You there. New to the game? Feeling overwhelmed? Maybe you think getting to end-game is impossible for a casual player like yourself, or maybe you just need to be around a community that helps each other stay sane and competitive with the latest news, current trends, random chitchat and most of all LEGIT (that is, we try to keep things fair) gameplay. If you don't mind being around quirky people and the rare occasional drama (one of our prominent TR members is apparently a mafia godfather) join nw_legit_community at http://www.nwlegitcommunity.shivtr.com/forum_threads/2330542.

    The general stereotype is this....

    Nuns = Hot
    Priest = Pervert

    It has nothing to do with stereotypes. Fancy colors aside male gear is simple and very functional-looking, and looks more like what a knight or squire should be wearing. Female gear looks more ceremonial rather than practical.

    ED:
    It might have something to do with how male armor appears loose or bulky, while female armor appears... tight or very fitting. I guess stereotypes do have something to do with it, but not the kind you mentioned.

    Plenty of male toons on this thread, just the majority play females, lol or wear a helmet that doesn't even let you difference them.

    Yeah I noticed the same thing. AD&D clerics have always been my favorite and I've always played as a guy. I agree though that the lady avatars look far better--the males look comical...that's why I need a helmet to cover my cartoony face. LOL

    This is pretty typical of fantasy games. The females look smoking hot, the males just look constipated. I really did want to make a male cleric, just as a counterpart to my female wizard, but the character I had in mind was a friendly, easy going guy, and no matter what I tried, I could only come up with Stabby McMurderfaces.

    Anywho, here's my cleric. She's only in her mid 50's yet, so no epic gear. Just a cool looking Tiefling chilling.

    EDIT: Cropped the pic a bit.

    I see tons of male DCs in Protector's Enclave on Mindflayer -- there are more males than females half the time. I just made a female DC because I had a character in mind who happened to be female. She was almost a CW instead but I went DC at the last minute. It's really hard to make a good-looking man in this game, though...I got so frustrated making my male TR, and while I'm okay with how he turned out, he still doesn't quite look the way I imagined he would. Not looking forward to making my next male character. >.<

    There we go, now she's 60, had a makeover, and is decked out a little better. I do need to get another weapon, though, this is the Delzoun one that comes with the Founder Pack.
