No idea what it is called but i found a thread with the spells, didnt see it here so i thought id post it.
Looks interesting. stormspell vs critical conflag?
hard to tell when not know what smoulder does (stacks, duration, rimefire, damage, effected by debuffs/buffs)
does look interesting since our storm spells are pretty bad but i wonder if scorching burst will charge our AP like pillar :P thats the real hook for me.
also wonder if that daily will draw 15 or more mobs, may even be an alternative to singularity if they get shot up in a nice bunching.

Need to know exactly how Smoulder stacks and interacts with feats.
- Furious Immolation = Cleric's Flame Strike except it also pulls Entangling-stylee?
- Fanning the Flame = fire version of Conduit of Ice, but relies on extra damage from existing aoe damage...
- Swath of Destruction = fire version of Chilling Presence? Could be quite a bit better though depending on how Smoulder works.
- Combustive Action = could be extremely mediocre due to dependence on Dailies and timing. Likely strongest in aoe builds and together with Swath.
That leaves the really interesting ones:
- Critical Conflagration = Critical Severity sweetness and high synergy, what more could you want!
- Scorching Burst = fire version of Storm Pillar except this one adds a synergistic effect and you get a potentially unlimited benefit by holding the cast, unlike Storm Pillar. If it also gives AP bonus, it may actually be a very interesting At-Will!
fanning the flame looks like a single target spell, with bonus if you are aoeing at the same time.
sorching burst may be our first real aoe at-will, if the damage is high enough to make it worthwhile.

Finnaly Firebrust Control Wizard but what about the feats, this will be pain full for GF and GWF
there are so many builds bla bla bla still they end up with ledge-pushing
If the tooltips for the upcoming Fire Paragon Path are accurate, then I imagine the developers would have to revise the Spellstorm abilities so that they have more synergy with the basic class mechanics. After all, it makes no sense to have one paragon path interact with Chill and Arcane Mastery when the other doesn't at all.
And thematically speaking, it certainly makes no sense that Fire would synergize with Ice better than Lightning would. Chill refreshes fire damage? Hell, Lightning spells don't even have their own secondary effect, much less a secondary effect that complements Chill. (An innate chance to proc small damage chains, like Sudden Storm's Mastery effect, might be in order for Lightning.)
Maybe I'm just naive, though.
All of that said, the spells themselves don't look all that great, but it's hard to tell absent any context. As you point out, it's not like the Lightning spells rock anyone's socks off. Furious Immolation seems far superior to Maelstrom of Chaos, but it doesn't appear to do anything that Arcane Singularity doesn't do already. I'm most interested in Scorching Burst; if the charge time isn't too long, and if you can get a decent AoE radius out of it, it might become one of our best At-Will options.
I agree but that seems pretty unlikely to me.
Yeah, the interaction seems forced but it's better than nothing for sure. Spellstorm seems lacklustre to me, I figured things like ball lightning or sith-like force lightning (the one drow boss has it with a pretty nice visual) or maybe lightning side-effects like a small chance of stun for more CC (if chilled) or a chance of arcs (for arcane stacks).
We'll see, the trend seems to be more towards hilariously long casting animations for balance reasons I guess.
My first Foundry mission, The Valley of Darkness NW-DG9DOTZLU
It's a new class using both chill and arcane mastery,
It also uses the same spell mastery system as our current CW.

I'm not sure if you're trolling me or not, just in case, it's a new paragon path, there is NO CHANCE for it to be a new wizard.
The previous statements were COMPLETE sarcasm, hence the facepalm.

To be honest, those werent very good sarcastic posts.
It wasn't destined to be mean, only to be obvious.
