Thank you for playing my Quests. In return I have played yours. both are easily five star quests, and clearly have an enormous amount of effort put into them. How long did that maze take to make? The only (small) issues were it gets a little laggy in some area (no doubt my weak computers fault) and I had to relog in the last room as I got stuck in the rock platform under the door the first time.

Thanks for the stellar reviews! Yeah, in regards to part 2... I went back and forth creating different parts, so the creation process was split up.. It took me a little over 3 weeks of working on it for most of the day for all of those days. XD

The lag issue isn't just you, apparently. I've been getting much feedback on it and will soon be seeing what I can do to lessen that without crippling the environment too much. I'm also going to be fixing that issue with Len in the cage.

Wow! I loved your creation of the Abyss; the enormous mountains, fire in the sky, clever use of lighting, it was truly great. A 5* quest.

I also very much liked how you'd used the character editor to create some unique Demons. You should feel proud of those monsters and post them on the thread I started here:

    http://nw-forum.perfectworld.com/showthread.php?412391-Foundry-Fiend-Folio-(upload-your-creatures)&highlight=forum+fiend+folio

A few notes (but not many needed)

    - I couldn't find any side quests in the first village (maybe just me), but I thought here was supposed to be some.
    - The music in the Abyss, it's frantic combat music but never stops and players are there for 20mins? Maybe use triggers to start/stop the music?
    - I talked to the townspeople in the town next to the tower in the Abyss. Conversations seemed a bit irrelevant whereas they could have built more atmosphere/lore (but I liked the skirt joke)
    - I liked the Maze, it was claustrophobic and well designed, but also difficult (I know there are many maze haters out there so be prepared for them to hit your * rating)
    - The dialogue with Zetraliel felt a little rushed compared to the rest of the story. E.g. there was no replies from me (just a number 1.) typo (need "a" good explanation).
    - The magical letter was one large paragraph in yellow, maybe add in some blank lines.
    - Conversation: I don't know if the language used would prevent NW from "spotlighting" your adventure, just a thought. Typo, ignore "those" from me (those what?).

    - I couldn't find any side quests in the first village (maybe just me), but I thought here was supposed to be some.
Almost all of the villagers have little things for you to help them with here or there. :)
    - The music in the Abyss, it's frantic combat music but never stops and players are there for 20mins? Maybe use triggers to start/stop the music?
No matter how much I tried, the editor would not allow me to do this. :/ I have thought about changing the music, however, because despite how I feel about it... I've noticed several others don't find it fitting. XD
    - I talked to the townspeople in the town next to the tower in the Abyss. Conversations seemed a bit irrelevant whereas they could have built more atmosphere/lore (but I liked the skirt joke)
I figured there would be some that were confused at the lighthearted atmosphere of the town, which is why you are able to ask one of the npcs and get an explanation. :)
    - The dialogue with Zetraliel felt a little rushed compared to the rest of the story. E.g. there was no replies from me (just a number 1.) typo (need "a" good explanation).
This was actually meant to have that feeling. :D It's all about the way Zetraliel approaches the convo. Thanks for the typo point-out. I'll have to grab that one!
    - Conversation: I don't know if the language used would prevent NW from "spotlighting" your adventure, just a thought. Typo, ignore "those" from me (those what?).
Language? o.o I know I had one part early on where the response was, "Oh shi-" ... But I changed that. What language are you referring to?

Whose dialogue was it that had the issue with "those"? I can't tell from what you put, thanks.

Thanks for the review and the suggestions! I've been working to steadily improve this. :)

Writing this review as I play again Purp, I like to review as I go :)

Ok, so lets begin.. Very exciting!

Haha, I remember this place, familiar terrotory to begin a great start! Love the details and the interactables, especially the demon book, lots of work, but worth it!

Lvl 273 of the Abbys please sir.. Coming right up! Brilliant, I'm gonna have to pull out all the stops when I travel to the 113th later in my story I can see.. This looks amazing!!

Small crit here Purp, it's very quiet? Is that intentional?

I've said it before about your maps, and I'll say it again.. WOW! The work you have put into these is amazing, well done mate! Another tiny crit, the barrier/portal that I just reached, I can see that it's perfectly 'round' could you hide the edges in the rocks a little, it seems a little out of place, so geometrically correct :P

City View, very nice! Very creative!

Just love your new mobs! How have you done that? Is that just resizing, and using the advanced editor to change them into something different? It's very effective!

I also love the relationship you have with Finley, he's a great character, well written.

Ahh dont you just hate that restriction of not being able to have NPC's GIVE an object! Its such a shame you have to do it that way with the ring..

I don't know how much more praise I can pile on you for your details and a simply EPIC map.. But **** dood! This is simply staggering! How long did it take you?

The flowers.. the love sick man... The soup for the urchins mother.. The lady who lost her husband!! WOW! If only we could make these rewardable! For me, the 'doing' of these things is enough, hanging out in your adventure is extremely rewarding in so many ways. I did them all, as far as I can tell, and really enjoyed it. You have showed me a new way of making Foundry's and I thank you for it...

The maze is masterful! There are a couple of traps that my rogue couldn't disarm though.. Couldn;t get in a position to do so. But such a minor problem.

Holy HAMSTER!! This room with the two demons!!... Is there no end to your talent! I will be grilling you for tips real soon! :)

Well, there it is.. The best foundry I have ever played! I am privileged to have played through such amazing quality, my hat off to you Purp, its a monumental achievement!

Thanks for the stellar review. :D (I'm a female, though! XD)

Was it quiet? There should be music? Oh well, no worries... I'm actually redoing the music at the moment anyhow! XD

It -did- take me quite some time, and yes, it is a shame that the items must be given that way. :(

Then I humbly apologise a second time to you in one day Purp... I should never have assumed you were a 'dood' :)

It was quiet yes, but I have the music turned down, it's a weird thing for me, I hate music in games.. NO IDEA why, because I love music and I'm in a band! For me game music detracts from the 'feel' I guess.

Anyways, the point being, I would never have heard the music :P With that in mind, I know i'm not the only one who turns down the music in favour of sound effects and game sound... Maybe some kind of ambient sound for us lot?

Appreciated Purp, Thanks again for the fun!

After speaking with Seiriloth and Finley, near what I assume is the end of the adventure, I cannot proceed. I can't interact with the portal near Seiriloth in any way, nor can I leave the area, as I keep hitting invisible walls. I've attached a screencap of the area I'm talking about.

No one else complained, so maybe I'm missing something horribly obvious?

It seems the portal may have randomly bugged on you. I've seen this happening lately in a few foundries. You can use the abort exit on the mini-map to leave and come back. (This should reset it and make that portal available to you.)
