I'm one of the players that don't log on their cleric anymore.
Well, playing a cleric is not fun in this game, i enjoy way more playing my CW and TR.
I wish i could play my cleric like a cleric in dnd 3.5 : a battle cleric with all his tools.
And as i read before, it's a thankless class that when there is a wipe or someone die, it's always the cleric's fault...i usually prefer to stay calm and don't say a word because it would be like "stfu, buy potion and drink them !"
So instead of all of the cleric frustration, i prefer to log on my other toons.

I'm sure it's been said in the last few pages, but hey. Paladins are Defenders (or strikers if you start dipping in to Essentials). Druids are Controllers. There is a Druid Leader (healer), it's the Sentinel Druid.

NW is need of some new classes or new trees or lines to give players more options and duel specs, the pvp needs some love such as new maps and new modes. 10 man 20 man epic dungeons, raiding that's why we play MMOs and make guilds.
Don't get me wrong NW has one of the best F2P models i have seen to date, I have spent my share at the cash shop but people need to speak up they will not change a thing if we keep pouring are money into the cash shops that's just the nature of this business.

Paladins are not defenders, that is bull.
Paladins are a mixture of cleric and fighter. Paladins have holy auras. Paladins have holy weapons.
Defenders are fighters with swords and shields...thats it.
This forum set up is absolutely horrible, I cant even figure out how to get my knight of the feywild title.
I can't believe I'm having to do this again, but here I go...
A list of MOST not all of the D&D 4th edition official classes and their power sources and their roles:
When they add new healers, I hope they add classes that are actually healers in 4th edition like bards and warlords. Paladins are defenders and druids are controllers.

As a Guardian Fighter I also enjoy that many attacks are still unblockable, many status effects are unblockable. Many Bosses have random malice so are untauntable.
Seeing dead Rogues within minutes of a boss fight sucks since I will miss that damage.

A list of MOST not all of the D&D 4th edition official classes and their power sources and their roles:
Defenders:
Martial=Fighter, Divine=Paladin, Arcane=Swordmage, Primal=Warden, Psionic=Battlemind
Strikers:
Martial=Ranger, Martial=Rogue, Divine=Avenger, Arcane=Warlock, Arcane=Sorcerer, Primal=Barbarian, Psionic=Monk
Controlers:
Divine=Invoker, Arcane=Wizard, Primal=Druid, Primal=Seeker, Psionic=Psion
Leaders:
Martial=Warlord, Divine=Cleric, Divine=Runepriest, Arcane=Bard, Primal=Shaman, Psionic=Ardent
Yes they all have builds that help them lean toward other roles, but they all have 1 role that they each major in.
