    There is the possibility that the dictator cat names might make people sad and we wouldn't want to the mascot to remind people of sad things, would we?

    So I guess it means Author the Cat won. But well, with 17 votes total results are pretty random.

    Perhaps re-vote with close results? Author, Meowstrel, Volo and Fluffy Pant Mittens McFoundryton the 3rd?

    A re-vote with the top results was the plan last I heard, unless that changed. I was pretty much away all weekend so I don't know for sure. :)

    Didn't make it on the list. But it's okay, he knows that while he may be the cat mascot the Foundry deserves, he's not the one it needs right now. And so you didn't put him on the list, because he can take it. Because he's not the foundry's mascot.

    He's a silent defender, a watchful guardian...
