Crush It vs Lemonade Stand knockback battle! [Video]

Did all kinds of epic battles and recorded them in the past, but never uploaded.. So heres my first upload, just a short fun clip of the only way to really have fun in gauntlgrym.
I started recording shortly after sending Steroids (Lemonade Stands guild leader) into the pit. And challenged him to get me back.

Sadly my recording setup doesn't capture my voice, though you can hear the awesome fulsome having some fun in our little 2v5.
Also note we won that match, I got the highest kills, and David Valtier I believe got the highest score (One of my pvp officers).
And yea, I'll man up and admit in our actual 5v5 earlier that same day vs lemonade, that one we lost - though it was a close fight we were winning early on. The current pvp meta is pretty broken with how advanced our ability to exploit the games mechanics has become, and they had insane crazy regen rogues I couldn't counter (Seal of Executioner is mega broken op). Believe Lantis has a steam up someone if people are interested. The previous official battle where I've fought most of the same players we won, so my tally is 1 -1 on that, well have to adjust our rogues and go again sometime.
Not saying they didn't win fairly, they did for the most part and are great players. Just we had no real chance due to mega gear differences (neither of our rogues wear those broken rings or have the hp to support that kind of regen tics). I mean I as a nearly maxed gear guardian plain and simply could not kill Lantis (a rogue, a class generally weak to guardians) even when I played perfectly, doesn't really seem balanced (thought i did kill him when he made many mistakes, if he didn't, it would be a stalemate which is silly).

No one cares about GG, no one cares if you won, no one cares if you got top score. Why even point that out at all? Maybe if it was an arranged 20vs20 with a 20 person premade on both sides then it would be relevant to point that out otherwise it's just silly, nonsensical gloating.
There's literally only 2-4 exploits that get used in PvP and they aren't exactly game changing. Using gear to build intelligently to maximize performance in PvP isn't an exploit. Utilizing broken feats isn't technically an exploit either, it's just knowingly utilizing a bugged ability. Using two dailies at the same time is an exploit because someone is deliberately going out of their way to utilize a bug. You should probably try to learn the difference between these three things (building intelligently, using known bugged abilities, and deliberately exploiting) before going around accusing people of exploiting or cheating.
It's only about 130 stat points over-budget. It's certainly a strong piece of gear but it's not really game changing. 260 extra regen is only ~1% more HP regened per 3 seconds below 50% hp. We're talking about 270 additional HP every 3 seconds (only when below 50% of max HP) on a 27k HP TR. As i said, this isn't really game changing. In a 20 second fight that's only about 1300 more HP regened (so you can survive one additional at-will). But while we're on the subject of talking about broken gear, how about we look at the GF's stalwart set which currently gives up to ~8,500 additional power. Do you really think a set bonus that gives 8,500 power is somehow balanced and/or fair? This is currently the most broken item(s) in the game, it makes an additional 260 regen look like a complete joke in comparison. I don't know for sure if you use this set, but my guess is you do (as it is obviously the best). If i had the option to pick between 8500 power or 260 regen, I'd take the power all day long.
I'm the cleric from this game, i was wearing full blue gear (including a blue weapon) with rank 5s, and no weapon or armor enchantments at all. Obviously you lost because you got significantly out-geared.
Fearitself (a GF from our guild) easily beats the TR's in our guild in a 1v1. Certainly not every time but he at least goes one for one with them. Not to mention GFs hard-counter TR's in team-fights. If you do play perfectly you can bulls-charge every re-stealth instantly (just watch for shadow strike and bulls charge them during the animation) and you can consistently peel them off your team so they can never get a lashing blade or duelist's flurry off. Also, a GF should never be the one to be the far-node assaulter. You should be defending your close point and rotating middle. That is the most optimal role for a GF currently. Your TR's or GWF should have been the ones assaulting the far-node, not you. Also, once you realized you couldn't beat Lantis in a 1v1, you should have decided to switch strats rather than getting farmed by him for the entire game.
not really. My strategy worked fine against him, as I often knocked him off the point, and he also couldnt kill me 1 v1. infact 2 v 1 the rogues took a very long time to take me down as you see in the stream.
And you can also see I did kill him 1v1.
Just meant it takes way too long due to the game mechanics and that ring having way too many stats for its level/quality. Its way more then "130" over budget, as the next best regen ring any other class can use gives 217 regen - less then half.
and lantis: You will always be loved, no matter how much hate you give me. Also, the best players in crush it are still in crush it, and remain in crush it. Quicktoe is just currently on break, our top geared rogue. Should be back for mod1. Thanks for the kind post.

That ring with 217 regeneration is a level 45 item, so of course it has way less stats. Regeneration has the same stat-budget as any other stat (i.e., 1 regen = 1 power = 1 crit = 1 ArP, etc.) in terms of how many total stats can be on a certain tier of item. Just compare it to Ring of Arachnomancy (level 55 blue ring) which has 333 total stats. That means Seal of the Executioner has 145 more total stats than it should. It should be nerfed (down to 333 regeneration), but even being 145 stats over-budget it's not game breaking. What is actually pretty game breaking (i.e., it allows builds to exist that shouldn't) is the Stalwart 4-piece which gives 8500 power (~27% damage increase with 5 stacks) which is so far over-budget compared to other set bonuses it's ridiculous. Just compare that to the TR's Swash set bonus which only gives 1,014 power and recovery, that means the Stalwart set bonus is basically 6,472 stat-points over-budget currently. So again, if you're going to complain about items that are too strong, then please don't ignore the gear you happen to be wearing too.

Apples to oranges comparison. Regen is an stat the affects everyone equally, rogues are a very strong defensive class for pvp due to the shortness of combat and the strength of itc and stealth.. They aren't deserving of stronger regen, its a bug. It will be corrected. Gona post in bug forum.

Please explain the bug about Regen or you are just talking out your *** and just as worthless as your gameplay.

In the VOD you can see you're using the bugged feat that refills you back to full HP even tho only couple weeks ago you were so against it. the fact is you're always gonna be one step behind, you're not the real deal, you just look at what we do and copy us, just like you did with the GWFs, the GFs and just like you gonna do with the rogues now I'm sure.

Rules of Conduct
To which you and everyone else that signed up to play NW and came here to post on the forums agreed to. So if you can't be civil and converse in a non negative manner towards one another then leave your epeen stroking and trash talking in game or take it to another venue.
No, actually, it's not ridiculous. Just because this is the pvp area does not mean this is a rules free zone where folks can act like fools. You can discus anything related to PvP in Neverwinter, but you cannot put the spotlight on any other forum member or guild in a negative light.
So this means no trash talking. Trash talking equals trolling, and we aim to be above that here. Remember, the PvP section also shares space with Gameplay & Combat sections, areas which mostly consist of PVE players.
There is plenty to discuss about what's right and wrong with PvP, how to improve it, and why it's fun or not fun. This is what the section is for. Somehow along the way, two guilds haven't gotten the memo. Hopefully this clears it up some.
In case it doesn't... here's just one violation that has been broken time & time again in the past week.
No trolling, or flaming.
Any form of personal insult will not be tolerated. General rule of thumb: if you think that what you are about to post is insulting, don't post it.
