Hello everyone. Maybe you have seen threads like this before, but I really think it's very important. The groupkick abuse is really insane... I was in a Karrundax group while the Dungeon Delves event was live, and in the middle of the run, I was suddenly kicked out for no reason. I contacted this groupleader person afterwards, but I got no answer... Really nice. At first, no, I wasn't bad. I had played as a wizard, and I haven't done any newbie mistakes. My damage was even much higher than of the other wizard in the group, and I was also focused on crowd control. But okay, my question now:
Why is it possible that people can kick you every time in a dungeon, but not possible to invite every time?
It's not great, and the current system has much potential to ruin the game experience for many people. I know that I'm not the only victim of such an abuse. I'm sure the best solution would be that people can only leave the group by themselves, after 5 minutes of the dungeon groupstart the group is locked, since it's not possible to invite people in the middle of a dungeon anway. Cryptic, you have fixed that so good in PVP (no kicks anymore from evil minded people), why not in dungeons?
I would also love to see, that these dungeons will be soloable, with less than 5 teammembers. And that the health of all monsters are scaled down if the group has less than 5 teammembers. Even some other cheap games have a similar security implemented, and I really love this game.
Thanks in advance, I hope you can understand me, even with my grammar mistakes.
What is the current kick system in Dungeons now? I haven't played an Epic for a week or two so is it still that kicking is only allowed until before the first boss is killed?
I had someone telling a group leader to kick my L59 green geared GWF out of their leet 60 group, grp leader didn't listen to the guy. At the end, I was #2 dps hehe. That guy left in shame.

I'm afraid there are a few notorious individuals on my shard who abuse their ability to kick from the very end of dungeons on a regular basis. One of them also has a reputation for stealing from guild banks.
Word is getting around. I feel weird saying anything in Zone since I'm not actually running dungeons or in a guild and haven't seen any of this in person, but when the same name comes up over and over again... let's say I take a favourable view on public shunning. (Person in question actually did PM me to ask if he could oh-pretty-please join my guild right after I used the word "guild" in a sentence. That also added weight to my belief that his rep is deserved.)
I use sometimes the kick button when i have it, but only on specific occastions:
- people willing to exploit the dungeon / cheat. Kick after a warning.
- people preventing the group from progressing in the dungeon, such as a healer with really bad heals while the party is doing it right, after asking what's going on. If nothing changes, kick.
- people being rude. Kick without warning.
Sometimes, people abuse it, but it's also something you don't want to see removed, because it would be even worse. Imagine how many runs could be ruined without it?

Just got my gs to 8.4k today. Q for 3 t2 instances but each time when i get a party, i will instant load back to town right before the instance finish loading (like 99%).
Is this a bug or was i kicked by the party leader?

Soon as they reward based on dungeon performance like in PvP such as damage taken, life healed, damage dealt, kill count, and award points or tokens that are used at a merchant at the end and/or start of a dungeon and bosses are just worth a portion of the total values. So if you get kicked in the middle you can just join a new party and use already earned points to get your gear.
If such a system were to be implemented where killing anything and everything was more profitable it would encourage more full dungeon runs as opposed to skipping to the final boss as much as possible.

A vote kick option would solve that too, but sadly still abuseable. I had until today in this game much more ruined groups because of pointless kicks, this isn't the first time i had to experience that. But today I was really so sad / mad about that, that's why I have created this topic. Hopefully someone from Cryptic reads the forums, would be so nice if even a forum moderator could send a suggestion to them about this.

I decided to give it another chance today but if the problem persist, it may well be the breaking point for me. Waiting for a Q (may take up to 20mins) and getting kick is NOT FUN.
A limited vote kick (i.e. once you have kicked someone from your party you can't do so again) would mitigate this issue.

The current kicki g system in thus game Really needs changed. Not only do party leaders kick ppl right at the end so they can take the loot drops, but also if u have an HAMSTER in your group youre actually punished by booting them. Completing most heroic dungeons with 4 players is near impossible, so if u get an ahol, or for example the ppl i get who will stop helping mid fight to stand next to a node or chest, youre completely punished for kicking this person.
Its a shame that we need need systems in place just to stop behavior that is normally completely ilunacceptable. I guess thats my generation though, the generation of societal degeneration

Was doing Karrundax with a mix of guild mates and friends the other day. The group got a message that one of the members, who was a CW, left the group. The CW who we thought had left (really strange because this person wouldn't do that without saying something) got a message saying he was kicked. Maybe you were kicked by the party leader but I believe there's also a bug that can cause this to happen as was the case in my parties experience a couple of days ago.

Well, sometimes you need someone to sacrifice DPS for precautions or a certain strategy demands loss at other ends.
As for inviting people in the middle of dungeon or at the last boss.. The party leader could then kick anyone and invite his friends for easy loot. Imagine going through a 1 hour or more dungeon just to be kicked at the boss so the leader's friend(s) could take over.
But if the kicking system were changed, then it would be possible.

If kicked and replaced with the leader's friend the friend wouldn't have earned any kills, damage taken, life healed ect and would have little to no points to get a reward. Though if the friend didn't need a reward I suppose it would still suck. Though if you earned these points and they carried over to new dungeon runs and they had a merchant at the various campfires so you could upgrade as you went if you earned enough part way through it could work.

The first paragraph was for your post, the second paragraph was general.

Kick anytime leader wants.
Still this? Ouch, I thought it got changed.

What Class Are You?
No they turn off Kick option in PVP, where it is actually needed to get rid of the bot infestation, but left it the other Grouping systems.
Not their finest moment if you ask me......

you were most likely kicked.

Then this seriously sucks. Wasted 1 hr + of my time Q-ing for 3 instances.
So whats the point of hitting the requirements to be able to enter T2 only to get kicked because u are not 'geared' enough.

True too. Really a difficult and evil problem, but at least many honest players don't need to fear a kick anymore (including me).
