There's no way to report really offensive language

Don't get me wrong. I'm not talking about casual swearing. I mean really truly offensive and disgusting language or really offensive disgusting things said in general Zone chat.

You can report someone for spamming. You can put someone on ignore. And if you file a report for spamming they're automatically put on your ignore list. Ok that's fine.

But there's no way to actually report someone. I'd like to see such a feature introduced.

we also need a way to report botters and exploiters rather than submitting a ticket that will sit for so long it automatically expires and never gets seen.

I agree. We should be able to report cheating by using a simple right click too.

No problem. This idiot has four posts with the same thing, and I'm reporting all of them. Hopefully he'll be banned soon.

    There is a way.

Press H and then Request GM help. Click on Behavior. Make sure to put in their @handle. Just a note that the language filter still applies here and it will reject any description that includes such language so be vague, but explain when they were saying what they were saying and in what channel (for example Zone chat for Protector's Enclave).

It will be abused, trust me.

"You got reported 21 times. You account is banned. Please contact """""Customer Support""""" ". "Fortunately", players are too busy and lazy enough to press H and fill up a form to report.
    "Lucky" is the new FOTM.

    Get thicker skin?

I mean, if someone is making multiple accounts to bypass the ignore feature to send you abusive messages and harassing the hell out of you, I can understand making a fuss. But everything else can be ignored, either with the ignore button or just not paying it any attention.

It's just letters and words, there's really no reason to get riled up and go on a crusade for something so trivial. Maybe it's because I've never had the mindset of a person that gets offended over things not directed at me personally, so forgive me if I don't get it.

One thing to note, when you submit a ticket the game takes a screen shot. And sends that with the ticket. So while you wont be able to repeat the offensive text in the GM report. Be sure to have the text visible on screen or in your chat window.

I like to see a feature introduced that laughs at people that reports people. Sooo let me try and understand this. You have a language filter, you can ignore. Why do you need to report anything you already did what you needed to do. Please for the love of God let these people work on the game instead of being bogged down by meaningless reports. You have all the tools you need.

. . . . . The above two posts gave answers for both forums and in-game. Closing this to prevent it from going further downhill. If one is being harassed in game, please contact a GM by the method dardove stated, if on the forums, PM any Moderator or use the method jihancritias stated. Thanks!
