    Sent you a PM!
No rush on the trade. And, when you do review, I'd appreciate a PM through these forums, if you would be so kind? That way I can work on the suggestions while in the foundry!

*goes to clean hands and mouse from all the sweat* Soooo much fear of heights...

Looking forward to playing part 2, enjoyed the first one. Will probably get to it Sunday night. If you want to play mine it would be great, quest/thread info in sig.

    Zovya,
I did these two on another character last night and the Pirate City was amazing. So much effort was put into the environment and the ships... I half expected to see Jack Sparrow jump up and make some strange face at me...

It was very clever with the chains and planks. The kids and the burning ship. Incredibly fun!

Well, I tried to play this quest and was unable to finish it. I may try again tomorrow, am hoping it will let me pick up where I left off or at least close to it.

My impressions of it so far (other than getting extremely frustrated at falling way too often) are that it's brilliantly crafted, and probably too hard. There was one point where I fell quite a few times, but that was my fault, and once I figured out what I was doing wrong it became reasonably easy. Then there's the part where I walk a plank towards a "ghost ship", basically a skull face ship, hopefully you know the one I mean. It is difficult enough getting on to it that I may be going the wrong way, but did manage to board it quite a few times. That ship is weird though, there's a couple of invisible walls in the middle of the ship (keeping us to the right half of the ship), but I just can't figure out where to go from there. You did a masterful job "leading" us from one point to another that I am just confused at this point on how to proceed.

If you don't know what I mean, I will try to take some screenshots next time. I am determined to finish, but it's probably been close to 2 hours and I've had enough for one night.

I liked this quest a lot. The cutscene was bloody brilliant. As well as the floating boats.

After taking a break I returned to the quest. It took me back to the beginning of Pirate City (which I wasn't too thrilled about lol), but it was a good thing, and definitely much easier the second time around. I don't think I died once although I fell a few times, and was able to get where I needed to go in a reasonable amount of time, so I definitely must have gone off the path previously.

In the first playthrough, teleporting from water level back to the campfire after a certain point, in addition to where the "ogre boat" was there was an additional teleport which took me to one end of a ship. Behind me (at that end of the ship), is a plank that lets you jump onto a white skullish looking vessel, which is where I got stuck before. I would implore you to add an invisible wall there to prevent people from going that way if you can locate the spot I am talking about. I didn't notice this part at all the second time. It was pretty **** frustrating, but I decided to rate the quest on its own merits based on the 2nd playthrough.

Which was a 5/5. It really contains some incredible maps. I am not sure if the boat interior was based on a template of some kind in the Foundry or built from scratch, but **** it is amazing. Fantastic job. The pirate city maze is frustrating and brilliant at the same time. It would be nice to have the squiggly line at times, but it is (a) a maze, and (b) probably not possible anyway.

Loved the way you handled the cutscenes, also the "surrender" was beautifully done. A few spelling mistakes here and there, but not a huge deal. Only one I wrote down was "more teleporters located throughout the map if you fall somwhere else". (somewhere)

    Awesome quest.
