Double Diamonds not working when collected via Gateway

This is not a thread about not getting ADs in the game at all. I know about the autorefining.

Right now, if you set up Leadership tasks in game, the overview page shows the normal rewards, but the selection page shows the adjusted rewards for the event. Gateway just shows the standard rewards on both pages.

So, my tasks were done and I went to collect the spoils via Gateway, and was shown the normal rewards for completing (protect diamond shipment X1, battle undead X2). Ok, went to check in game and had 2400 unrefined ADs, which is just normal, not doubled. Collected protect diamond shipment X2 on another character in-game and received the expected bonus.

So, I'm not intending to start a riot, but be careful out there fellow adventurers

    I've confirmed that I do not receive double AD when I've queued tasks from the gateway and collected in-game, or when I've collected rewards through the Gateway. I've lost thousands as well, since I didn't just change toons. I think they forgot to update the Gateway for this. I hope they fix it soon, as in-game is sometimes a pain in the ***.

    I can't even get gateway to work properly. I can 'collect' but not create any new tasks, nor does the entire task list display. I've given up on gateway.

    Click on the Leadership icon on the left side to create new tasks when the slot button doesn't work.

    Same as last double-AD event. Gateway won't work. You have to collect task rewards ingame to receive the AD-Bonus. Very lame. Especially when I can't log into the game over the long weekend due to my own holidays. So no double AD for me (again).

    Did not know that!! wasted mining claims and the opportunity to get double diamonds for those long tasks :(

    I just tested, and confirm it, no double AD through the Gateway. :(

    It also didn't give double diamonds when I tried to redeem tasks when in a pvp match

    TL;DR don't redeem anything unless you're idling in Protector's Enclave.

    As for anything else Gateway, it's fine for sending missions, but ever since it's been around, collecting from them using it always leaves you short.
    How Cryptic trolls the entire NWO playerbase: 9200 GS listed for CN, implying anyone who needs more has no skill.

    Do you guys know that already have about 3 public well know bots for the gateway don't you? A simple google search shows then pretty easy, and again, Cryptic do nothing about it.

    If the gateway allowed 2xAD the booters where going to get even more rich.

    I feel your pain. Reality is that Cryptic does not have a good practice of the Software Development Lifecycle. They are in a chaos fire mode and reacting to so many things they don't have time to evaluate and review dependencies of other areas of their product/software solution(s). This will continue to plague the developers for the life of this product. Hopefully they'll hear your call for Fire and fix the oversight.

    Ok, then it might have been nice for this limitation to be a little more clearly stated in the event announcement, if it's a feature not a bug.

    I think its a bug. Ive noticed the AD reward listed on the gateway tasks is still showing the normal amounts, not doubled. The system is only going to give you exactly what it is showing you. Whatever switch Cryptic flipped to activate double AD, didn't seem to propagate down to the gateway.

    I really doubt any line of reasoning that presumes Cryptic to be incredibly cunning rather than utterly incompetent....

    Yes they should warn people that using the Gateway will not award double AD because in their advertising for the double AD event they even say 'Leadership Profession' - pretty misleading by not stating it's In-Game Leadership Profession only.

    Likely a bug rather than a concession to botters. If they make this kind of design decision based on cheaters, they've already lost.
