Makos' Apprentice - where did he go?

Not that I would buy anything else from him except the White Skeleton Dog, because the Savage Enchants are broken, but where did this NPC go? Will he be returning after the new event NPC is gone?

No. He's gone for good. He was only hanging out to collect the last bit of bones players had after the invasion. I think Makos has him on clean up duty from all the additional "litter" that's being deposited by the bone dogs roaming Neverwinter now.

There are at least 300 bags of bones at the AH, and countless in character inventories. Are these now useless? When they fix the Savage Enchant (like that will ever happen) will Makos send him back to collect? It would have been nice to know he was leaving, thank you Cryptic for the heads up. I would really hope that he returns when the current NPC for this event leaves.

The event will likely be returning in a few, I wouldn't worry much being honest.
    A world to defend
    A city to protect
    innocents to save
"Why?" They ask "they hate you"
We're heroes it's what we do.

When they added him back after the invasion event, they did say he would be leaving today.

Uh, so when he was brought back, it was posted exactly when he would be departing again. Reading the patch notes ftw.

I see that now, my mistake. Thank you.

Valindra's Invasion was advertised as the End of Beta event, I would not expect it to return (though some other event using bones as currency may happen).

There was a heads up. It was in the patch notes that he would be around until July 3rd.

People whined when he was removed the first time. Cryptic pandered to these people and brought the guy back for an extra while. You folks were told when he would be removed for the second time. Now that time has come and here come the whiners once again.

There has been more than an ample amount of time for people to gather their bones together and finish their trades. If you procrastinated this hard, that's not Cryptic's fault. If there are tons of bones sitting in the AH (probably because folks are greedy and want more than they're worth), that's not Cryptic's fault. You need to get over yourself and come to grips with the fact that this game doesn't revolve around your special needs.
