Cant log in...Unable to authenticate

    All I did was choose to Change Character and now I cannot log in, been in game switching between toons for the last 3 hrs and now I can't get back in at all.

    The login servers are probably down.

    I'm getting the same issue. My server status light is green, but any attempt to log in comes back with Unable to authenticate.

    Haven't found anywhere to check actual server/shard status.

    Disconnected right at the last boss in epic pirate king during dungeon delve. Now i cant get back in, and im the tank too, so we're screwed.

    The most hilarious part of this is that the issue pops up when you try to load a new map too (my girlfriend got disconnected trying to do just that), so eventually the servers will empty.

    I've got three party members wondering where the heck I am right now I imagine.. Was in Spellplague Caverns.

    Incorrect. I do not and that would by no means cause the authentication server to be unreachable at the sign in screen.

    yeah support says if you get the message server is down or you are using incorrect password/log in

    I wanted to change characters to check on my professions, but the login server isn't able to authenticate. Have you tried turning it on and off again? ;)

    Unable to authenticate and nothing is downloading in the background.
