Foundry scaling means combat is potentially difficult at higher levels and you may wish to bring a friend.
Loot is totally random. Foundry missions can be a good source of identification scrolls from mob drops, but may also drop you a ton of green items. Random.
I have found that that they are indeed harder. However, scaling all the way to 60 you can tend to get some decent loot and rank 4 enhancements seem to drop pretty frequently which is definitely nice.
I think it depends a lot on the class. My GF did fine at level 60 foundries with level 50 gear (It leveled it up using Invocation and Leadership while I was playing alts), while my DC in Tier 2 gear found it hard going.....
Probably any class apart from a DC will be fine, although you might end up losing gold overall until you get a decent set of gear.
Some of the lvl 60 foundry content can be very challenging for a soloer but I actually prefer it that way. On one particular quest, my CW was chased all over the map by two huge stone golems before I finally wore them down.
Your overall success depends on your class, gear and skills. Purple gear is very helpful. Also, a rare or higher companion is desirable.
For the very challenging quests, the rewards are not sufficient. I have only received green uncommon drops from the final chests. Of course, that's not the foundry makers fault.

Definitely do foundry stuff at 60 - for the ADs from the daily, and just for fun. There are some really good writers and level designers out there in the community as well as some just fun ideas (e.g., re-creating quests from the original NWN and areas from other games in the foundry).
I have had problems sporadically with high level foundry missions. The 3rd chapter of the Dweomerkeep (?) series was not doable for my mid 50s (at the time) DC. I ran out of injury kits and had to exit the quest entirely. I haven't tried again since I hit 60 with that character and got epic equipment, but it might be ok now.
Some foundry missions/quests have variable difficulty that you can control (I believe 'A Fateful Encounter' is one of these). Basically, some authors put an npc at the beginnning of every map and will populate the fights with easy, medium, or tough foes based on your responses when speaking with them. Personally, I think this is a great way to make the mission accessible to all players, even if they have a class that is more difficult to solo or sub-par gear.
But yeah... definitely fun.

Yea. I wish the end chest at LEAST give you a decent loot (since it is a single loot) one of the Dev said it "suppose" to be linked with time, but I can't find that link or I could have dream that up. I have slept since then.
to the OP:
All foundry level scale (so you can play them all) if the average time is 15min then it qualify for foundry daily rewards.
One of the major tips to new foundry makers is NOT to stack mobs (more than one group) because at higher level, solo players can't finish it.
I remember posting in another thread and Ambisinister mentioned that longer / larger foundry quests yield better rewards. He said that he had recently played a larger one and received a few blue profession resource drops for example. Unfortunately, since the daily quest completion gains do not scale with quest size or length the pressure is on players to focus on 15 minute foundry quests so that they can get their daily quests done relatively quickly. I know it has been suggested several times, but it is my hope that the average length of a foundry quest can be tied to the number of daily quest completion credits so that a person could play and enjoy a 1 hour long foundry and get 4 out of 4 completions done for their daily quest as a result.
An idea that has been discussed on Foundry forum has been to give a small % drop chance for cosmetic or cool items. Or Foundry tokens given on qualified quests that can be redeemed for epic gears.

Please review my campaign and I'll return the favor.
to make everything short...
you guys are saying that at lvl 60 foundries are still worth to waste time?
Hopefully they can figure out a way to fix this and make Foundry rewarding without it being exploitable.
