Neverwinter Maintenance - 06/20/13

Hey everyone,

We'll be performing maintenance tomorrow morning, 7am PDT (Pacific), in preparation for the live launch of Neverwinter. Downtime is estimated to be 90 minutes, but it may be longer or shorter depending on our progress. We'll update you right here with our status.

When is that in your time zone?

    So I a correct to assume the game will be live after maintenance is done?

    I know it's bad to assume - but I think that would be a bad idea. They likely had multiple shards to curb in game lag and queue times to log in. With a major patch and the fact it's adding content, it's going to draw quite a lot of people back because they want to try out the new content.

    If PWE/Cryptic were smart, they would do the merge when things have cooled off and not during a major patch.

    What is this Ranger you speak of? Do you have any confirmed data that a new class is on the way and its a real Ranger? Why would it be a ranger, we haven't seen one real true to form D&D classes. It's all these made up classes.

    The Ranger and Warlock both were in the GWF video.

    So I assume that the Finale is now over at 7am instead of the 9am previously posted? That's a little disappointing for those of us who planned to get up this morning and have some last minute finale fun.

    Still, great to see you guys officially launching. Congrats!

    Then wake up earlier instead of acting like you've priority over others.

    Then go to page 3, then click on the Great Weapon Fighter Class Reveal in Neverwinter video.

    At the very end of that video, there is a camera pan shot showing a warlock casting a fire spell and a ranger with drawn bow.

    That was a rather ...snippy reply just because someone said with complete accuracy that they had announced the event would end at 9AM today (their time) and then at the last minute moved that up to 7AM.

    It's so unfortunate two of my prefered classes are out of the game =( An archer (always play with these on all games) and a summoner (love playing with summoners too)

    Uhm....it was running today too, 12AM = start of a new day. Since the company resides in Pacific time, there was a good 7 hours of it running on the 20th.

    It was known long before the event started that it would end when Gauntlgrym was live, and guess what? Gauntlgrym is going live.

    Am I correct to assume that one has to be in a guild to take part in the new pvp and pve events? The notes seem to state something like that

    you need to be in a guild, then the guild leader allies with either one of the sides, then you can join gauntlgrym with our without your guildies.

    If maintenance schedule holds to expectations, it was listed to be done in 15 minutes or so, or approximately 17.30h Paris time.

    The expected length of the downtime is mentioned in the first post of the thread. You will have to do your own conversion to Paris time.
