Luskan is known as the City of Sails,
as before Lord Brambleberry it was quite a bustling city on the coast of the river Mirar. The trading merchants and their shipments were always watchful, fearing that the pirate association of the city would taint their name or loose them their goods, but the flow of traders on the way to the Ten Cities was enough promise to keep them.
Such a lovely city, such a terrible fate, and after the Spellplague there was hardly anything left for us to call home.
Not only is my toon from here, but my DnD characters would frequently be from here or it's surrounding area. I thought it was an interesting place, yet struck by tragedy again and again before being overrun and falling into disarray.

Ah, such a dilemma. I hate jumping on bandwagons. Then again, I also don't like being wrong. Guess I'll make an exception this time and hop on. The City of Luskan it is.
