I really wonder if people play to have fun or to showboat themselves... dudes, is a freaking game... if you have fun playing it... do it, if not DON'T... if the fun you take from the game is to make tons of "money" (seriously, MMO moneys are the best thing ever!!) and not enjoying the game for itself... play hold'em, not NW... i enjoy this game because is fun, even farming (this weekend 2xjewels is great) is fun, i dont run the same dungeons over and over to loot and sell, i play t2s one day, t1s if i feel like it, CN if i find a good group to do it 4/4...i enjoy PLAYING... ok, i dont have BiS gear in all my toons, but they have DECENT enough to play any dungeon i want to and keep seaching for the pieces i want... so i'm having a great time in this game!

Many other MMos have BoP gear, and are alive and well. Go home OP, you're drunk.
Is it common MMO behavior to defend best in slot cash shop items by, without much warning, suddenly gutting a game economy? I'm serious. I've never seen it happen before.

It's the same failed model Blizzards been using for a very long time. It's contributed to a much bigger split between the community than anything else that's been introduced in that Mmo. It keeps the haves on top and the have nots on the bottom, which inevitably ruins any form of community in an mmo.
