PVP Bots

I'm so tired of joining teams or even playing teams with bots. It takes all the fun out of PvPing in the first place. Something should really be done about this, I saw a lvl 60 toon just a few minutes ago in the Trade of Blades who had starter gear on and thats just not right.

There are teams of AFK with all the similar name...where do I have to report their names to make them banned?

It's gotten to the point where I'm downright surprised if both teams are actually full strength with no bots. There needs to be some sort of reporting mechanism, bot-bans, SOMETHING that will make PVP less frustrating.

is there anyone who acctualy plays pvp on this game?
i only see bots when i join arena, maybe because the pvp on this game sucks so hard that people rather use bots than play it themselfs

I grinded out the glory needed for the pvp epics, but cant stomach to do pvp anymore - not even for the dailies - the bots are just too annoying. To me, PvP here is not only broken, it's pointless and dead, and until Cryptic gets off their asses and do something about it things will just get worse, same goes for gold sellers etc.
Rep goin down faaaast in the MMO world.

Yeah bots everywhere. Played one round of pvp, and never went back.

It seemed really bad this evening. I've never really noticed it before (< LVL60 ) ... but tonight was horrid. I surely hope this gets addressed ASAP.

i dont even join pvp anymore for few days always the same HAMSTER bots/afk ppl and others that enter and leave and u match 2vs5 3vs5 totaly waste of time... this guys with bots should be banned on account and for the afk should add a time for 5 min and kick them also would improve alot if they put on arena open slots for others to join an arena that is currently in progress or to end it faster if its unbalanced (example 2vs5 ) like i always get

It's absolutely horrible. Every time I enter the arena I hope I get to see some movement of my teammates, anything, before the gates open. Bots just stand there and run blind when the gate comes down. It's ruining PvP, because with everybody and their mother using bots, more people will get fed up with it and use them too.

I reckon we need a Report-Bot tool, same as with Report-Spam. With enough flags on their account *poof* - delete.

There are lots -- I've reported a few, but the process is very cumbersome, since the account names are usually random letters, e.g. @asdrasdfa1271. CSR's always acknowledge the report, but who knows if anything's actually done about it.

Invariably, they are rogues -- and rogues who don't use stealth. I always kick them if I am group leader. But obviously that will do nothing, since they'll immediately join another queue and get into another match-up.

The trick is to kick them toward the end of the game.

The trick is to prevent the bots even getting into the game tbh .

I wish there was a way to just tie those guys up and deliver them right at the enemies spawnspot.

"Here, have a hostage. No, don't worry, we don't need him back."

Aaah than you get ppl abusing that like it happens with report spam now. They should have some kind of GM where you can report to so they can "spec" join or w/e to look and than ban them. Or putting more ppl on the support so it will take few days to get a reply instead of weeks (or no anwser at all).

There will always be abuse, but I think it's better to limit it. Rather one player who got flagged by 16 people but was just acting like a bot, than 16 bots running around getting freebees and pi$$ing people off.

As long as you can gain Astral Diamonds (PvP daily quest), Glory and experience points by doing NOTHING but walking into walls then there will ALWAYS be be people who will do it. Just a fact...

Not sure how a player is meant to do that- you can however, make them pay for ruining your game by kicking them toward the end of the game. Well, you used to be able to do that but soon we won't even have that recourse. Let's hope the other pvp changes help discourage afking/botters etc.

Well if you detect them after the round starts this is true, but if your lucky you can see them before the round starts and if you kick them this early the server will replace them with another (hopefully not a bot) player.

I personally love pvp and hardly ever see a bot to be honest...I think a lot of you confuse a bad player or a player simply leveling off of the broken exp system with no care for gear with a bot. Just because someone dosnt talk and fights everything they see instead of on points doesn't make them bot it makes them bad. Also just because a player is lvl 60 with bad gear because hes afk'd lvled or just played and not cared about score just exp doesn't mean they are a bot either. Saying that i have come Across some bots where they consistently run the same path and attack the first thing that crosses their path or just stop on points but its quite rare really.
