What on Earth is Happening?

Why is there a bunch of NPCs in Protector's Enclave running around screaming help and asking to call the guards? They're yelling about undead being in the city, but I don't see any? It's kind of disconcerting.

    Oh good, is this how you get the Achievement for surviving her event?
    Thought I might have missed that/it was in Alpha/Closed Beta

    I don't think it's started yet. The NPCs seemed to have calmed down... For now. I hope they release more information about this soon.

    Maybe it will span Thursday night- Monday morning at various times of day. That might make the most sense.

    Not to make comparisons here or anything, but it sounds lot like the CoH events they used to have in that game. The sky would turn red, a crack of thunder, npcs run in horror, and bam! Up come zombies to attack the city. Every hero in game would come running. You got the slayer achievements for like x amount of zombies, x amount of husks, x amount of nightmares. They were fun but could get laggy. They always happened in various zones and not always zombies. Sometimes it would be the Rit'Ki (those damned monkeys) or some other monstrous race. If these kind of events happened in Neverwinter, it would definitely put some spice in the game.

    If you hit L in-game and look at the Calendar it is already in there and you can see a mini description and time frame for the event.

    Oh man.. why will this happen on weekdays. I won't even be in town..

    That's weird. If it starts on Monday, I wonder why I started seeing the NPCs running around now.

    It starts in 9 hours and runs for a few days , you can get enchantments a title and even have a chance to win a skeletal/undead dog companion xD , the event is to celebrate the end of open beta :P

    Imsmithy sorry but ur wrong, its the small discription that stats 9h, but the big one says from 17th-20 of June starts in 3d9h.

    Nice. So they post on twitter about surprise for us... but it doesn't happen until next week, and it's an event. I wanted more zen store stuff today! :((((

    Wait, hordes of zombies going to flood Protector's Enclave? Killing zombies at 5fps seens to be "sooo cooolll".:rolleyes:

    Aha yeah , I'm turning all my settings to lowest possible before I go anywhere near Protectors enclave during the event , atm I have no lag or loss in framerate in town but I imagine that with a load of other people all spamming daily's and aoe's that it will be lag city xD

    QFT the event should start today, there will be places on the map where portals appear and monsters will come out and ppl need to kill em :) Poor low lvs will get wiped now rofl :D

    Maybe you should lower your settings. I never experience lag at Protector's Enclave, but I also run everything at medium.
