I loved this show! ^^
Hope it gets re-done while it was cheesy it was incredibly fun and enjoyable to watch!
I don't think It was cheesy at all. I do however feel like season 1 had some pretty poor special effects that looked awfully fake but season 2 was improved dramatically and the cancellation of the show took me by surprise. The show is popular and getting even more popular because it actually has had some proper advertisement now. To me, it wasn't the actors or the writer that made this show get cancelled, it's some idiot who was holding them back with HAMSTER poor advertisement and management. The show has a 7.4 rating on IMDb, that's better than a lot of shows that are still on the air.
I really enjoyed this show. Watched the first episode of the second season, but couldn't get into it. Might give it a try again one of these days, though.
Please show your support if you like the show. I do believe Netflix has both season 1 and 2 and of course... there are other ways to watch them.......
So, I'm going to be the one that rains on the parade and says the books were WAY better. In the very first episode they screwed up the most important relationship in the whole series. Having read the series as they were coming out, the show was too painful for me to watch.
I will say that me not liking it is no reason for you guys not to be able to watch it, though. To each their own...

I swear this had a topic on the forum before....
I actually never got the time to watch the show but from what I heard it was right up my alley. In fact I looked it up and was extremely bummed to see, as I was considering watching it, that it only had two seasons which was part of the reason a glossed over it.
One of my friends started watching it a few months ago and was amazed when I told him when he first started that it only had two seasons and was cancelled. If they could continue the series I know darn well there would be a following.
Honestly prime time has to stop it with all of the cop shows. Game of Thrones proves viscerally that there is a demand for other even more niche genre's and that even the average person can be won over.
CW seems to have taken the clue. Their Supernatural, Arrow and other fantasy shows are pretty successful and honestly would likely do better on a more watched network.
*Sighs* Then again...the more watched networks are run by the name numbskulls who seem to think there's only two types of shows people watch: Cop Shows and Reality Shows.
Honestly does anybody like Reality TV?! Nobody I know watches the HAMSTER and somehow it infests my TV like a plague.
*I do know there are exceptions but Cop Shows and Reality shows outnumber other prime time shows at least 4:1.
