There are folks in MMO's or other online games whose main goal is to see how many folks they can offend. You just need to learn to ignore them. Play with friends or look for a good guild. Or, do like I do when soloing: minimize the caht window and pretend I'm playing a single player RPG with lots of NPCs with poorly crafted AI.
Screenshot, report, and move on. It's not nice but you can't get rid of all the stupid people in the world. They love it when you get upset by the stupid stuff they do. Ignore them, they really aren't worth ruining your day.
Sure it's not nice and sure you should report it, but there's no need to be dramatic about it. It's the internet, and no matter how many such people you report, it's not gonna go away completely, ever.
You can choose to let it get to you, or you can choose to not let it get to you.
Guess what the smart option is?
(Also, what are you expecting from a ticket? At best, you would get a standard "thank you for your report" response; you're never going to be told exactly how the infringing player was dealt with.)
I'm not sure how he's being dramatic. "Hey guys, it would be nice if my submitted ticket showed up..."
WHOA WHOA WHOA, slow down there buddy. What are you getting all worked up for! Calm down!
A rich rogue nowadays is fit company for any gentleman; and the world, my dear, hath not such a contempt for roguery as you imagine. - John HAMSTER
I'm just showing you what being dramatic really is. It isn't starting a thread on a message forum designed specifically for making game-related threads on.

Since a HAMSTER mod is removing legit posts again, I'll just repeat:

Of course; but in this case, it's a waste of time for him.
It would be nice that a ticket that I submitted would actually show up in my tickets.
Getting called the N word in zone chat is never nice.
The ticket system really is broken unfortunately. As others have said, there seems to be a trend among a large part of people to just want to hurt other people. Do exactly as you did and submit a ticket and move on. If you think it did not go through, try resubmitting if you still have the info. Normally, you will receive an email when you report a player. Basically thanking you and telling you that they will not share any action they take with you for privacy reasons. If you got no such email, it is possible your ticket did not work.
Thankfully, the ticket system is getting a fix in the next update. I'm really sorry to hear you were addressed in this way. Unfortunately the internet makes the cowardly and/or hateful feel they have the right to be mean and cruel to another human being.
I'm sure once they read the ticket they'll handle it appropriately.
