Please can we have some Respec coins? It would make testing a lot easier.

Also is there a way to do feedback in game or is it just through these forums?

Unlimited respec would be quite helpful on the test server.

+1 - We ran around and looked around for awhile and couldn't find anything to get us Respec.

How about letting Rhix hand out tokens?

Yeah now that we have this test shard they REALLY need to give us free respecs.

I have some stored AD to burn for feat respecs atleast, but still.

It's also somewhat difficult to test any characters you've already got up to 60 without having to do a 4 hour dungeon or a hit or miss Foundry quest. Can't pick up old quests or get into older dungeons anymore :/.

Respec tokens would be good. A lot of people didn't pick certain options either because they were broken or weren't viable.

    +1 Respec Tokens please
    • To test the existing 'broken' skills/powers
    • To compare builds using the new changes to characters
    • to get you more feedback on the changes

I agree it is hard to test on a PTS when you cannot test all options.

Not to mention that currently anyone that has respeced in live already have moved points out of the 'broken' feats and skills. With a few rare exceptions.

There are 2 ways to accomplish this...
1.) Place a vender in town that sells respec tokens for 1 copper each.

2.) Place a level up and gear vender that allows players to start a new character and become level 60 instantly. Then have other venders where the players can get bags, gear, etc anything needed to test. (This method seems to be the most popular and is used in Rift, EQ, etc beta and test servers.)

We are talking about getting free tokens for testing the preview on our copied accounts. We already know we will get a free token after official release.

People are referring to the test server. Hard to test changes if you don't even have that feat or power. And the zen store isn't functional so even if someone was crazy enough to want to pay for it they couldn't.

Cryptic needs to add a vendor just for Mimic that gives out free respecs.

You need to read and take things into context. This is the PTS server forums not live.

    I thought this was in.

Pretty basic stuff for a test server...

Yeah, test server should have unlimited and free respec, there are new effects/buffs/nerfs all over the place, yet we can't even test them.

    Bump.

Devs, we'll need free respecs to test out all the various changes you've brought to the game. We wouldn't be doing anything constructive otherwise.

A 3rd option, could be given it is the Cryptic engine, copy the Power House from Champions Online.

You zone in, re-spec, test against AI etc, and only when you leave the power house, do your powers lock.... Stay in Power House and you can keep changing spec, testing skill changes etc with no cost.

Worked really well in Champions Online, I would love this system in Neverwinter.

That, sounds really rather awesome.. though I doubt they'd give us something like that..

We had a "shady patron" in the Alpha test which would allow you to roll a new character at various levels and give you all the gear, AD etc appropriate to that level, as well as the quests completed as if you had done them. We also had an npc in the Enclave which gave out an AD stipend per day which made it possible to buy the Zen to get whatever we needed for testing purposes. I would assume it would be easy enough to re-activate them.
