Please set limitations to your guild bank, as a member we recruited in game has of all its gold and lvl 5runes. Members were given access to the guild bank in good faith and trust.

Members withdrew and deposit gold as needed for their toon. In our guild's case, all gold was taken out by a now ex member.

I realise we should have set limitations on the guild bank, but unfortunately we learnt the hard way that not all peeps play with regard to honor. It was uncool to empty the guild bank without asking an officer in game. We have since set limitations and reset our permissions.

Sadly, this post will be either deleted or the name removed, along with the image. I'd be seriously tempted to have my friends ignore him every day, on all toons.
TL : DR? Then don't waste my time responding.

Better edit out the name or this post will be deleted. And as you already said, don't give EVERYONE guild bank access, especially in a F2P game, rofl.

Wow, thats a real shame. Hard way to learn a lesson about trust in a world of anonymity. Sucks that it happened but there is nothing that can be done about it.

Nameing and shaming will cause more grief to you then to them. And Cryptic will not punish someone for making use of permissions you gave them. Its not right, but it is simply the way it is.

Best to just take this for lesson it is and do your best to recover.

The name is still in the title, so I foresee this thread being deleted.

Remind me not to invite you to any parties. Warnings are not crying. He admits he screwed up. You are just being a complete and total <expletive deleted> talking like that.

When it comes to the basics of running a guild I am a total <expletive deleted> I will not argue with you there. Theres a few unwritten rules for running a guild well and one of the most obvious ones is don't let new members have full access to the guilds bank. Much of this guilds hard work has been stolen due to poor leadership.

With a character name like that, did you honestly expect *good* things?

And he admitted he screwed up. Point was, you came in and accused him of crying when all he was doing was the public service of reporting a big ol ninja with proof. *shrug* Just bothers me when people come in and insult their peers for doing the right thing.

Its also against the rules to name and shame. Its not the right thing to do in the first place. The thief didn't break TOS the bank was left open for all .But the OP has broken TOS. The thief is a git and the OPs an idiot and yes I am not a nice person but least neither I or my guild mates have been taken for a ride like this.

I dont believe the TOS is always the best measure of what is right or wrong. It is not your job to moderate the forums, but if you want to be a.productive member of the community, perhaps a less hostile initial approach to serious threads would be appreciated by certain people :)

I am already a productive member of the community by not running a guild as if I was Forrest Gump. Informing people that naming and shaming can get them into trouble will help more than your hug everyone attitude such an attitude is great in real life but in MMO's not so much. You are actually saying to people breaking TOS is ok. Sorry for upsetting you with my hostility a care bear is in the mail.
