I saw a Rogue do this today. I was losing half my health bar while taking tons of damage, 5K plus before she finally appeared. Ive never seen this before, is this a bug or can Rogues attack while staying stealthed cause if thats the case its effing BS and the most OP HAMSTER I have ever seen.
It is true. You are starting to see it a lot more in pvp.
They stealth and spam ranged attacks, and there is not a whole lot you can do about it, unless you have skills that do not require a target and you can find them.
The actual projectiles they fire are usually invisible, so you can not see where they are at.
Pretty sure it is supposed to break stealth after a second or 2 and I believe this was reported a while ago.
At-Wills do not break stealth. Cloud of Steel is an At-Will. Maybe I should make an ignorant thread about Astral Shield stacking being problematic or CW killing you in the duration of their stun-lock rotation and making the life of melee hell.
Stealth can break if you deal damage to us while we're at Stealth. We also have 3 skills that is able to refill our Stealth Meters, one of which will Daze you while we're at stealth, and the other is a skill that refills our Stealth Bar and releases a black dummy which gives you 50 points if you kill it. So please if you see a dummy, kill it! It'll give you 150 points if killed near a tower. The last one is a Class Feature that allows TR's to refill their stealth meter after using a Daily. We can also extend the duration of our Stealth by 40%, and use a daily that rapidly refreshes our Stealth Meter for 10 seconds and gives us another 8.5 seconds of Stealth after that. We almost always have a full Stealth Bar after using Lurker's Assault. Stealth for most Rogues however will only last for about 6 seconds.
It is very possible for us to kill someone even while we're at stealth. But once we're out of stealth, we're pretty much subject to your mercy. We are a flimsy class. It also doesn't help that our AP generation is nigh horrible, and our ranged at-will, Cloud of Steel, can only be used 12 times per charge. We also have our limitations despite these perks, and I don't know much rogues that spec on stealth because we'll lose on DPS if we spec on stealth.

-gloaming cut (at will) refills 10% of stealth - refills 25% stealth if you kill an enemy with it
-bait and switch (encounter) refills stealth if used from stealth
-shadow strike (encounter) mid range attack that instantly refills stealth
-invisible infiltrator (class feature) daily abilities refill stealth meter AND gives damage boost
-gloaming cut (at will) refills 10% of steal - refills 25% steal if you kill an enemy with it
-bait and swtch (encounter) refills steal if used from steal
-shadow strike (encounte) mid range attack that instantly refills steal
-invisible infiltrator (class feature) daily abilites refill steal meter AND gives age boost
thats not an issue, the at-will attacks while stealth its working as intended but some OLD WOW KIDS just want to replicate the classes as all those wow/traditional mmorpgs.

LOL. I forgot about Gloaming Cut. That skill is nigh useless. Would be great if it dealt more damage or refilled more stealth.
The TR kiddies are going to be very sad, once the upcoming patch (aka. reality) hit them.
I doubt it. Regardless of what any patch does to the class, rogues will still be excellent at their intended role in combat and there's no way to "nerf" that. The complaining won't ever end because the class is designed to dominate these one-on-role matches, and you can't change that without breaking PvE.
Don't get me wrong, I can understand the appeal of getting the developers to implement changes in order to make up for whatever tactical prowess you lack in PvP, but this is a PvE-focused game, and that means they are limited in what they can do. I just can't imagine how they can possibly make us anything less than awesome, and I can't help but to suspect the balance patches are going to be more about buffing the other melee classes instead of trying in vain to make us less sexy.

Pls, TR still have roll to dodge attacks, if used with skill we are strong so don act like crying and all gone once stealth is no more. I got a TR myself and we don need mercy, so don cry alright.

Why it is op? As far as I know, the only effect stealth (in PvP) has is that the rogue getting always combat advantage. He is not invisible nor invincible when attacking in stealth.
Combat advantage can be very easily optained by other means.
When you are controlled by a CW, I think he always gets combat advantage. But not sure ...

With good gear and some luck they can kill you without even you seeing where from.

I also do not care if it is working as intended in pvp or not.
I am just sticking around to try out the ranger for fun.
Anything they do to fix the game is a negative in my opinion.

Kill people with At-Wills? Yeah, if they are really bad I guess.
