As the title says, I know my guild has all started playing other games well because theres not much for us to do in Neverwinter, which sucks, because I especially do ENJOY this game to an extent..

I know that GG is coming, Will that even be enough? Will there be a ranking/point system? Will there be ANY depth to this game what so ever?

We need more relevant content, we need content that will also TAKE A WHILE to accomplish/finish/farm.

INB4THATSWHATUGETFORBEINGHARDCORE

This game has so much potential, just don't want to see it all go unwarranted..

That being said, my MAIN char being a TR fully geared with everything except the ancient mainhand, I HOPE TO GOD YOU GUYS BALANCE THE GF CLASSES.

Rolled one the other day and, I literally just laughed, they are utterly garbage past level 10. I totally see why I never group with them at 60.. Wasted class slots.

Cleric, CW, TR only classes viable in this game ATM (effectively farming, pvping I guess you could consider one of them viable (LOL).
Terrific game, I just hope many others like myself don't lose interest before its too late.

I spent a 180$ in the zen store, so I have tried to help by doing my part. I have faith, come on PWE keep psuhing this title, because you really could be sitting on a gold mine.. If done right.

I have to ask; does the word Beta mean anything to you guys? The game we see is likely the skeleton of the general release product. I've seen quotes from the Dev's saying that with all of the work they have in front of them class balance is planned in the future, right now it;s bug, exploit time. I'm saving my resources for the full release before I decide if this game will keep me occupied.

Sorry, but I have to disagree. I'm level 59 right now, so I can't speak for the sixties, but so far my guardian fighter was classes above my rogue in terms of fun and survivability. Sorry, but if you want to do something other than headbang the keyboard, all classes are good.

There's only so much they can work on at once. They're probably working on their countless bugs atm.

    Cool story ****.

GL finding getting invited to any GOOD groups.

You are level 59, not even 60 so, your response is null. Plus I played that garbage class for myself, so weak and underpwoered but hay you obviously know more than me right?

GF is arguably the most fun class to lvl up in the whole game. When you hit 60, It becomes increasingly hard to consistently gain access to T2 dungeons and top of the line items. Currently GFs are not very effective in high lvl parties as pretty much any rogue can replace your skill set and do a better job at it.

I think the fact that I thought "Baldur's Gate" when I saw the title, instead of "battlegrounds", is closely related to me enjoying the game.

they are adding Baldur's Gate? That'd be cool.... Waterdeep and Calimshan too, and maybe even Luskan since it's so close geographically

My GWF is 32 and laughably bad. What he will be when he is 60 is not the answer, its a cop out. I got a 60 CW, 20TR, 35 DC, 14 GF and in terms of dps output the GWF is horrendous. I know how to play. I know what gear to use and stats to stack. None of it matters. Its just bad. Don't get me wrong, not every class should function the same dps wise or else there would be little variety in class choice. I just want the class to function like you would think it would. Like ... I don't know.... maybe the guy holding the giant sword should actually blow stuff up like a guy with a giant sword would ? I will never get to answers I'm looking for but I know there are developers at PW that worked on this class and must have played it themselves. How did they think this was right ?

Yah, melee units need to be playing a more central roll in high lvl parties, or at least add an aspect that no other class can produce. Personally i had so much fun lvling my GF, all the way through T1s. . Initially i didn't realize it but at that time it was game over.. just ended abruptly lol. Access to T2 dungeons for melee units is currently not allowed, or at least not consistently allowed.

I have to ask; does a company that takes it's customers money and offers no refunds not make you realize that this IS a soft launch and calling it a "beta" is laughable at best and that the company is only putting a "beta" label on it to avoid legal complications?

Now i am not saying thats not true, All i AM saying is a lot of us do great damage with GWF and i mostly laugh at what CW puts out. Fair fight with a TR though depending on player skill.

Every class is viable. Sure GF and GWF have some issues currently but both classes have seen completions of Castle Never by more than one person, thus making them viable.

Perhaps you wouldn't be so bored with the game if you took up the challenge of playing lets say, a GWF? Seems many took the easy road to the best loot and are now complaining they have nothing to do.

This sums up about most of the issues i see in the forrums (other then bug/exploit reports obviuesly)

Greed before need issue = Learn to play for fun
No melee allowed in t2 = Learn to play for fun
Game done after 2 weeks = Learn to play for fun
    E T C ....

One word, GAUNTLGRYM. It is supposedly going to cover all bases with regard to battleground pvp, open world pvp and high end area to hang out. Whenever it's implemented of course.
If you can't be constructive in your criticism, go back to world-of-whiners.

Pvp arenas are like the appetizers at a restaurant. The main dish should be some open world pvp. A place where bots do not get any credit whatsoever and where pvpers have quests and rewards only obtainable while actually participating. Objectives like holding a castle, sieging a castle, rank titles and glory rewards with a more extensive glory shop only in the deepest parts of the zones. I'm sure this request list could be a mile long but you get the picture. I hope the GG upcoming area is a STEP in that direction.
