I play both classes and its easy to block those holds and the CW daily. A good GF can easily stick to a CW.

    Yup, most definitely.

    The same goes for
the str shown on the screenshot.

He started with a 16/16/12/10/10/10. Dwarf gives +2Str/+2Con, so at level 60 your stats are 24/24/14/12/12/12. Now add the campfire bonus and you have the stats you see.

i only have a gear score of 9400 and i love being a 60 GF in pvp. competely agree with the OP. a GF in a one on one match will win most of the time. the reason most dont' is because they are specked for pve and are in a match just to do the dailys to get the astrel diamonds. These guys don't care about pvp and don't practice it. I remember taking out a rogue who sent me a tell saying he never lost to a GF before in a one on one.

well done with the videos by the way!

Indeed, I've had several run ins with tricksters specifically, who were in disbelief.

Just wanted to say last night a GF was asking for other GFs for a pvp team. Let's just say that we completely owned 3 teams and all the matches were won with ease, everything was recorded myself I was 3 shooting CWs and 4 shooting rogues :)

Forgot to say all the GFs were random no ingame VoIP or teams peak everyone was just having fun ^^

That's me, Fellwitch. I'm still working on editing the video I got about 40 gigs to go through lol.

Pls be humble, enjoy the game and respect all other classes. Perhaps u never really fight with high geared good premade teams before. Try that and you will eat your words, those are real fights. Showing off not gonna bring u anywhere close nor near.

I have a rogue and gf too.

I enjoy these threads they are most interesting. They all come to the same thing though pvp at cap.

I would like to see some pvp threads about pvp during leveling. Like 20 to 30pvp, 30 to 40, 50 top 60. Might be interesting to see with people of equal skill who has the better chance of winning then.

That's funny, I don't use Knights challenge and I don't do the rest of your skill lineup in that order. You didn't even watch anything it would seem. Also, how does one do lunging strike right after using it not 1-2 seconds earlier?

Before you hit 50 you use Knights Challenge with this build and with mediocre gear you can perform just as well as you do at 50-60 without it. Once you get Knights Challenge at 20 the doors open up in pvp for a GF to do big damage, but you dont need it later, utility > knights challenge.

Obviously you never faced a really well geared & skillful CW before. Not only they can dodge minimally 1/3 your encounter attacks, together with their daily they can drop you like 60-70% easily.

Sorry, I didn't mean to come off as arrogant.

If I get the jump on them, my rotation is usually lunge, slice slice, surge, slice slice, bulls rush, slice slice, and then I just use my at-will gap closer to try to keep close to repeat. Usually I block right away because of the recent shield delay bugs, it's hard to block in time even when you see.

There's not much they can do at this point. Dodging and knockbacks make it difficult, but as others have stated, you can easily guess what they're trying to do. If I get close, I assume they're going to dodge at some point, and time my attacks accordingly. I'm surprised at the range on surge sometimes.

I'm also always looking out for their force lift or dailies so I can attempt a block, everything else is tankable. If they have knockback, I try to make them waste it on another ability, then lunge in. Either way, they're not probably not going to get away.

It's certainly possible that I haven't met a highly skilled CW. I've maxed out on glory 3 times, still waiting :)

What I have experienced as a cleric is constantly being knocked down or booted away. This prevents me from doing my job and (I'm not sure how to counter other than the immobilize trap) the fact that my pvp matches are PUGs so its rare you get "teamwork" anyways. When you do its a good match unless your outclassed in gear then its not anyones fault and comes down to focus firing and who does it the better and the cap points.

Thats usually the goal when you have a competent cleric/multiple clerics, knock them out of their circle and away from their teammates. If rng favors me I'll kill the cleric in 1 combo before the team can even react.

Started a GF two days ago and I'm LOVING PVP! Not even 20 yet and I'm learning the class well. Tanks that can holds points for a long, long time. Normally it takes two to take me out. All in all, a fun, fun class to PVP.

Ah yeah, what I meant though is that it would be nice to see how ALL the different classes fare at different intervals during leveling. For example to see if some become better at endgame or vice versa etc.

Mhm, that would take some time though, leveling up all classes and pvp'n all of them while trying to have decent gear to maximize class potential.

I must should say that both GWF and GF will face problem fighting a rogue 1v1. There is one cheap rotation that i can do to own the melee class 99%. which i often use XD, stealth lashing blade > dualist when melee class in near > rotate or cotinue lurker/execution > rotate, follow luna's TR build guide & you will get what i mean. Even T2 Timeless geared Gf cannot stand it, trust me.

I have both rogue and gf. I love to melee.

Lurker means you rely on a daily then for finishing of a GF?

Not necessary using lurker. If u had it, using it is kills faster of cos, AP generate pretty fast with rotation of stealth lashing.

Moreover when gf/gwf lunging/unstoppable or whatever near just duelist, he cant damage u much with it on. Then go on run and roll a lit then continue with the rotation. Of cos i must emphazied it's on a 1v1 basis w/o interruption and vs melee class only. Cw/dv can pew or repel so they will keep a range to you so duelist usually don hit all while lashing will get interrupted most likely

    XD

Being lvl 60 GWF I must say fighting equally geared GF 1V1 is about worst thing that can happen to me in PVP, win or lose it's gonna be long and health consuming affair (if other players from both teams completely ignore us that is). That being said, individual skill aside, fully geared lvl 60 GF is beast in PVP.

Still wondering about the 17k power with timeless set.

I was under the impression this amount of power was almost impossible WITH the stalwart bulwark set, yet he has 17k with the timeless.

I wonder why OP isn't responding to this lol, he did say he was 300 less? Of what I don't know. In any case, I don't know either, I have it in bursts during epic dungeons but I haven't a clue what's causing it but I can say my AOE is doing massive damage. After 3 swings of my g.plague fire sword I'd switch to p.vorp and would crit 7-9k on cleave at-wills. I do run with another GF in party instead of an extra DC and our feats together are amazing. :)

PS: Lots of people having been asking me about my echants and playstyle. It's a p2w style to be honest, I usually use 50 greater stones a dungeons because I rush ahead of party to pull rooms and gain high threat. This involves armor/weapon switching as well. I have 9 different timeless chests with lesser to perfect thunderhead for constant stun rotation, perfect negation for when I'm lazy or like to troll people during pvp because 25% or 30% (can't remember) extra damage reduction is huge, lesser to perfect soulforge for when I'm low and can't pot. (15 seconds immune to damage)

I have never been killed by a rogue who didnt rely on his daily to do it. Even the best geared ones. This is whats great about a GF dps build, it really never relys on dailys at all. They just make it easier in tough situations. 90% of my kills are simply from encounters and at-wills.
