I have a few things like exp boost that are account bound, how do you trade these to other characters on your account?

That doesn't Work, I've already tried this as well.

I'll be tracking this thread to see what kind of answers we get here ;)

edit: only thing I didn't try OP, and looking back at it now, maybe it's the way, but did you try sending the mail to only your @handle, without using your alts actual alias?

You can't. Account bound items equal pretty much to character bound.

This is what I assumed. How can something like this get passed even the most basic QA checklists and actually make it live, is beyond me... Their QA team wouldn't last very long with my company.

Definition: My Account bound wallet cannot transfer zen to PWI.

Then why even list "Account Bound"? Or what was the reason giving a bunch of level 60s a 4k EXP boost?

Giving something like Shared bank would be nice...
Like they have in that awesome Champions Online.
Maybe we get one when the 'Buy Your Own Castle With 200,000,000,000 AD's' comes.

Of course they will eventually sell account bank space in the Zen store.

Anything which is listed as "Bound" within your inventory is "Bound to Character" and is not listed as "Bound to Account."

Items which are bound to account are typically redeemable by all characters via The Founder's Shop.

You can mail unbound items/gear to your account. Just use @handle and all your alts on that account can pick the items up. Just the Bound(Account) can't be mailed. That's why CO has the Shared Bank in th Hideout for all the alts store and use the stuff stored there.

Was looking for an answer to this, got account bound exp scrolls which I don't need for my level 60 to pass to my Alt. Are they going to add account bank same as in STO? or maybe its meant to be character bound....

You're actually wrong. The Caturday Survivor's pack included a couple of XP boost scrolls, with item descriptions listing them as account bound, not character bound (unlike the cape and mask). These cannot be claimed at the reward agent, and there is no way to transfer them to another character, unless it's maybe possible to dump them in a guild bank and pick them up with another character (not in guild; can't test).

The problem isn't with the account bound items. It is simply that there is no system in place to transfer them. In all other Cryptic games account bound items can only be transferred via shared bank slots.

The mail has never been a viable way to transfer account bound items due to how the mail system works. There is no restriction in place to only allow certain items to go to certain accounts. As such, any item attached to the mail can freely be mailed anywhere. This is why its never been an option, its just easier to restrict it completely and use another system. In this case shared bank storage. Hopefully, we will see its implementation soon.

While that might be typical its not always the case. As someone else mentioned the Caturday XP scroll actually says Account Bound. And not character bound. And not all characters on the account got them (only the ones created before Caturday). At first I thought this was great. My level 60s should have been able to pass off the scrolls to others. But we have no ingame mechanic to do so.

It is either an error in the labeling (maybe the item should have been character bound). Or they gave us account bound items before adding in a way to trade them.

With the exception of the 4k Experience Boost Pool, which you buy with Tarmalune Trade Bars.

Its totally true and stupid Account bound cant be transfered to another charcter on the same account. Its just another lazy mistake the devs made so add it to the rest of them all.

If its character bound then just call it character bound. Really as it is named right now its false advertizing isnt it? It says account bound it should be able to transfer to another toon on the same account.

Again just a lazy mistake

Yeah i was wondering about this, so 'adventuerers xp booster' cannot be send to other characters? , it gives some cryptic (no pun intended) message about 'make sure you adress yourself' i tried all characters/handles etc but i keep getting the same message.

I cannot get this item from the 'redeem guy' because i think i got it from a lockbox (not sure where it came from i just noticed i had 2) I already made a GM ticket

And why don't they have a shared bank in this game, afraid they receive less money for w/e reason?

Most of the things, open lockboxes/redeem codes i do on my 'main' but not being able to transfer anything is just stupid, it can't be that hard to fix this issue. Now those adventurers xp boosters are just a waste of space, can't destroy/discard or sell them and since the character i got them on is 60 i'm not sure i can use them either.

So you get all sorts of double items, bound potions/altars and stuff just to fill your bags, not being able to stack bound and non bound items is stupid 2 when it comes to potions, basicly they are saying 'buy more bags because we'll keep giving you HAMSTER that takes up space'.
