It's like Mass Effect were canon Shepard was male but you could make a female Shep. The canon Trickster Rogue if we remember the CGI for Neverwinter is female. Its actually meaning her not your TR ^__^
Actually, the only non-gender singular in English for that would be "his". Is the OP really so insecure in his manhood that he can't handle an occasional "her"?

You've basically hit upon the reason. English doesn't have a gender-neutral tense like other languages. Consequently, the "rule" has been to substitute with the typically male pronouns where the gender is otherwise nondescript. Recent efforts in various circles have attempted to make the language more "inclusive", however for the time being the old rule still applies.
I saw this tip in-game, and although I am something of a grammar purist, this honestly didn't put so much as the smallest of knots in my knickers. Bigger fish to fry or something like that.

It's such an American thing, traveling through Europe, and the mid-east "her" and "She" are used quite a bit and no one has an issue with it.
These descriptions are a throwback to the 1970s when the forward thinking TSR crew, the originators of D&D, decided to use male gender pronouns half the time and female gender pronouns half the time when describing situations in their rulebooks.

And people STILL get mad about it. Pretty amazing.
"while Guardian Fighters will hold up their shield"
So hard to work out.
Just look at all the angry little kiddies raging in defence of this trash heap. Making up straw man arguments in order to create an ad hominem attacks, pathetic. Some of them are reading this as a quit thread and saying "FIXX OR I'LL QUIT !!!" when it's just an image post and nothing else.
They say "pants" because this game is built by and aimed at whaling Americans and that's the American word for trousers.

Actually it didn't didn't start till the early 90's and Lisa Stevens was the one who first suggested it, and honestly it went over really well with the female D&D players I knew at the time.
Note the part of the statement that says FOR INSTANCE... Therefore the statement is 100% grammatically correct no matter your sex or country of origin.

Yeah, they get mad by not posting any text at all. Keep making up arguments. Also, keep asking people to leave the game, the faster it gets buried the better.
Really the complainers are down to this? there are more important things to worry about than the androgynizing of the Human species.
While I agree...I must say that I have hated this since 2nd edition. This insistence to use the feminine because it is chauvinistic to use the masculine is boggling. I guess it is because guys dont really care about grammar. The "proper" solution would be to use gender neutral terms, Their, them, they, the user, what ever.
But at this point it is akin to complaining about the wart on a orc's HAMSTER detracting from it's(opps, I mean her) looks.

I agree though, way to complain about something irrelevant.

You're not too bright, the the was the problem, not the lack of a capitalized T.
Really? Are you serious? LOL
