Hey guys,... Big mmorpg fan,... played wow, rift, swtor, tera, and have now made Neverwinter MMO my new home and main game. This game came out of nowhere and I'm loving the Open Beta, and committed to this game as I see the game and player base growing as it's already showing so much promise in the Soft Launch...
I want to get a pack I'm 90% sure I'm going to go with the $60 founder's over the $200 dollar founders,... looking for the best value and only care about in-game advantages not extra bs n extra cosmetics...
is there any real difference or anything you truly get out of the $200 version that's worth it in the long run esp at lvl 60? Most people are saying the only difference is you get spider mount vs horse, dif animal comp which are no big deal 2 me at all and the only real difference is 2 extra characters slots and 1.4 more AC, and that the $200 is just more luxury if you got extra cash 2 blow as your truly paying $140 for just another 2 character slots + 1.4 AC,...
any1 want to share why they invested in the $200 version as it being worth it in the long run or care to help me make my decision,... thank you very much

Honestly if you just want an in-game convenience advantage, go for the 60$ pack.
The 200$ pack is more like "I want to stay a long time in this game and I want to be credited for being here and supporting it."
Characters: - Titania Silverblade, the Iron Rose of Myth Drannor (Lvl 60 GWF, Destroyer) - Gwyneth, the Cowardly Cat Burglar Drowling (Lvl 60 TR, Saboteur) - Lady Rowanne Firehair, Heartwarder of Sune (Lvl 33 DC) - Satella, Sensate (LvL 44 CW, Renegade, Non-Active)
You do get the extra race and a bag as well. If you're only looking for concrete ingame bonuses though, you'd probably be better off either just buying zen and purchasing exactly what you want ingame, or getting the $60 pack and any other extras (bags I guess) with zen.

The $60 one is far superior because the dire wolf is a vastly better companion (staggers things like crazy), and the spider looks gross and out of place. Horse with guardian pack is just as fast and looks very nice.
So yea, zero reason to buy that insanely overpriced pack. Paying 60 + a bit more for zen will net you a far superior account (can get some very important stuff like 24 slot bags - hero pack bag is smaller and costs 200 dollars instead of 10)
Char slots are uhh 300 zen iirc, so 3 bucks each. Diamonds - atm you can get around 370 per zen on dragon, so yea - a ton more doing it thru the exchange. (the extra 140 bucks would net you over 5 million diamonds)
Drow race - meh, ugly, not the greatest racial powers, and will be available to everyone soon enough (minus the tattoo and possibly slightly different powers)
The only thing is you do get a good weapon at 60 - but not the best in the game, so I don't care, and it's enchant isn't particularly good either - plague fire is vastly superior in all respects.

yeah I think I am going to go with the $60 pack,... I'm just seeing a lot of $200 players out there more people on the spider than the horse,... some1 said something about you get a certain item that makes enchanting cheaper or saves u money with some real useful in-game item,... and that there's a VIP only type store with useful stuff,... still doesn't seem like its worth the extra $140,... just trying 2 get the details and make sure I'm not missing anything

The wolf from the $60 pack as a far better AI than the $200 cat..The cat tends to be slow on the pounce.
If you want the renegade race option then it is worth it, otherwise having that wolf is very nice for every toon you roll.
Edit-2 : actually if I were looking for solid in game advantages and I wanted the Drow renegade option (which is very played out by now in DnD fandom)I would consider getting the 200 pack and the 60 pack just for a nicer looking mount and a better pet...

Immersion breaking/Wowesque defining spider mount, and the ability to name a character a few of the million variants of Drizzt. Beyond that, about $140 really.

Still trying to find a reference to AD in my AD&D Manuals.

I can't recall a single pc mounting a spider in any campaign I played in.

The weapon is trash =/ the lvl 60 purple pvp weapon beats it anyday lol.
The wep isn't trash stable boy, all your mounts aside. Laugh. You might want to do a comparison of the best in slot T2 wep in game verse the Hot wep, the difference is not big at all and in some builds it is very nice. The very best T2 wep for my GWF has 20 points more damage (984, Hot wep has 919, give or take 1or 2 points for both, memory is foggy) and has differing stat mods, some identical, some better some not so good. The Hot wep is like T almost 2 and looks great.
I see why they decided to make it slightly better than a T1 but not as topped out as the T2, and with differing specs, and that was to try and keep the people that cant stand to see someone get something in a different way to keep their pie-holes shut, sadly the gamers with no cash and tons of free time still ***** and moan because they cant mind their own business and worry about how other people gain things.
Had wrong sword slotted, hot has 919, but is still close to the T2. 1,538 power, 248 crit, 488 armor pen, enchant of choice, enhancement slot is 33% chance to do 12.5% of weapons damage ignoring 1/2 armor for this effect.
There is no worse feeling in the world than the moment during an argument you realize you are wrong.

-Epic Dread Vault Crushed.
Characters (Dragon): Axer (60 Guardian, Leader of Crush It!), Controller (60 Wizard), Warlocker (60 Warlock)

Spider
purple 60 weapon with unattainable enchant
those two alone make it worth it to me.

It allows you to get a few nice pieces + a solid purple weapon right as you hit 60 and you can get rolling a lot earlier.
I agree its not a really good weapon but its better than the blues

It's because behavior of that nature is frowned upon by just about every culture out there.
