What am I looking at for "endgame" gear on a CW?

I'm almost 60 and I'm looking to buy gear/grind for it once i do hit 60.
Problem is(at least to me) all the gear is pretty **** even in my eyes
Currently I own the pvp set and the offset stuff like rings and belt.
What is the CW set to get? What are the set rankings and how much of a difference is there?

GEmmed Exquisite - Short/Pants
Orb/Offhand - Ancient Court (this will take a while for u to get )
U can run overser orb or spirit cave.
I don't see a huge difference in this set vs a normal set. The 5-10% crit severity vs the fatebenders or the pvp 25% cooldown on spell mastery,
that big of a difference? or will I get by with a normal set.
ALSO: What gems do you reccommend?
I'm still wondering if it's not better to make a 2 combo set: 2 pieces of Shadow Weaver and 2 pieces of Focal Magi... 400 crit given by focal combo and 450 crit given by shadow combo...
