It is pretty bad and a clear violation of the terms of use. Why they are not really Enforcing it or had any kind of name filter is kinda strange.
No one should support hate speech or Racist behavior. This is a DnD Game at its core. A family game. Sure you slay orcs and stuff. But in a cartoon Fashion. It would be the same as turning on saturday morning cartoons and watching Wiley Coyotee Start spewing anti semetics at the road runner.. It is not acceptable and i really hope You guys who support this never reproduce and bother bringing a kid into this world!
Okay last thing on this thread I want to point out...the pegi rating is pending for neverwinter, I think they will be aiming for a pegi 12 ratings but If the game allows swear words as user names that pegi rating will be higher and that will mean less kids being able to play and therefore less money.
OP don't bother with these folk saying it is alright because you and I know it isn't plus we have the publishers behind us also, so no matter other peoples opinions on the matter you are correct...just report them to a GM when you see one

I've reported a few myself. Of course, all of the tickets were closed because of the overabundance of tickets out there. Not sure if they got fixed.
I report because of how stupid some names are. I mean "yolo-swag-420-fa**ots-i'm-a-moron-report-me" for a guild name is sad. I'm offended by the stupidity shown by that. (i'm a moron report me wasn't part of the name) That and I think that yolo and swag are two of the most ridiculous terms I've ever seen.
TL : DR? Then don't waste my time responding.

Well whenever I feel in the mood to create a female avatar in a game I call her "***** Galore" Hey if James Bond was aloud in a PG13 movie so am I Of course the name generator burps when you enter ***** so you need to have a clever typo to compensate.
And as an older fellow it always makes me laugh when some parents complain about a few names in games because of their kids, yet there they are after dinner playing grand theft auto on the ps3 hehe. And that by the way is a true story where i had to put a friend in there place.
I said it's ok for your kids to play a hoodlum simulation of how to steal, ****, and beat with a stick/kill innocent people on the street, but a MMO name that reflects religion or sex OMG that's a travesty.
4. Account
You, as creator of your Account and User ID, are solely responsible for your User ID . PWE will not tolerate offensive or obscene User IDs. If a User ID violates any part of these terms, we may immediately, temporarily, or permanently ban such a User ID, with or without notice.
PWE is not responsible for any misuse of your Account or your User ID
10. User Conduct
You must observe these Terms, all Rules of Conduct, all applicable laws and all basic rules of etiquette and common courtesy when using the Website and the Service. Any conduct that violates the law in an offline, real world community is also a violation of these terms. PWE will not tolerate any illegal or offensive conduct.
Without limiting the foregoing, in addition to the User Content rules set forth in Section 10 above, you agree not to take any of the following actions:
(a) Harm minors in any way;
(h) Impede or disrupt the Service or the normal flow of game play or dialogue in the game or in Interactive Areas on the Site or use vulgar language, abusiveness, use of excessive shouting (ALL CAPS) "spamming" or any other disruptive or detrimental methods in an attempt to disturb other users or PWE employees;
(i) Engage in, encourage, or promote any illegal activity, or any activity that violates these Terms or the Rules of Conduct;
PWE may take any actions and impose any penalties we deem necessary to discourage and punish any violation of these terms or any other illegal or inappropriate conduct, all without prior notice or warning. The determination as to whether a violation has occurred and who is responsible for such act is solely within PWE's discretion, and is based on what we deem best for the community and the Website. By using the Website, you agree you will be bound by PWE's determination as to whether a violation has occurred and any penalty we choose to implement.
It doesn't matter if any one of you do not find the username offensive. If it is deemed to be offensive for minors to see based on legal organisations such as the FCC accounts may be banned or characters may be deleted without warning.
You agree at the point of creating an account that all content created by your account is not vulgar, obscene or hurtful to any other players (within reason) and PWE is in charge of such definitions not the player base.
If you find a username offensive please do not hesitate to report the username. If you do not then that is great for you but it does not mean the name is not offensive or in violation of the Terms of Service. Keep this in mind as you continue to post.

If it offends you report them. If it is really offensive they will ban or rename the character.
