Seemingly suspicious email regarding something called neverwinter gateway

Hi,

So I've been getting emails from what I'd first assumed was just the neverwinter staff/mailing service, which had a link in it to something called the neverwinter gateway. Seemed like a usefull thing, so I gave it a click.

To use it I needed to log in on my PW account. I didn't as I found a few things strange.
Now this might just be me being paranoid, but I cannot seem to find any link on the official neverwinter homepage that redirects me to that gateway thing, nor could I find any info regarding it.

Since the gateway thing has a different web address then the usual addresses PW seems to use, I thought this a lot like some kind of phishing mail?

Has anyone even heard of this thing before? Is it legit? Why the strange url?

    The only address you should ever login to the Gateway at is this one:

    https://gateway.playneverwinter.com/ - never click links in emails, sites, or forums. Copy/paste and inspect the link. Bookmark it when you're sure you're on the legit page then use that bookmark only.

    There Are No Official Apps for the Gateway    , don't use the ones you may find as they will most likely compromise your account.

    If ever you'e in doubt of emails, forward them to     customerservice@perfectworld.com along with your inquiry.

    If it's at https://gateway.playneverwinter.com/ then it is a legitimate way to access some of the game features via the web. And yes they only tell you about it in tips on screen and in some in game emails once you start crafting.

    Ah, that's fine then, I was sort of concerned as I could not find any link to https://gateway.playneverwinter.com/ on the official neverwinter site, atop of the fact that it isn't your usual "something".perfectworld.com url. False alarm I guess! :D

    Don't forget, the link is https:// not http:// - it should route you to the secure page, but just for security's sake be sure to always bookmark and travel to the secure url directly.

    There is a valid web interface where you can do things like crafting missions. I do not know if the emails you are getting are legit or not though.
